========================================== Can't you just find the publisher in the book and contact them? ========================================== You would think that would be an easy process wouldn't you Martha. I've spent a number of hours just trying to do that with no luck to date. I've made a few contacts today that have given me some avenues to check out. Lets see how today goes! :-)

Hi, Winston Must have somehow missed your earlier post. Forgive me if you have already tried this... I would start by searching the title or author (depending on the scope of your list) in the Library of Congress catalog. From there you can acquire the publisher name. A Google search on 'publisher directory' turned up quite a few, including this one: http://acqweb.library.vanderbilt.edu/pub_alph/w.html which gives websites, and from there you should be able to get contact info. Of course, it depends on the publication being in the Library of Congress holdings...that's just the most extensive collection I have personal knowledge of. If you already know the publisher, naturally you can skip that step. :-) Cheri

Thanks Cheri! I'm off to have a look. By the looks of things you might not see me for another year! LOL

Second Exercise
2/11/2006 8:16:09 AM
I had a quick read last night and started in working this morning. First thoughts? WOW! This is really starting to open my eyes as to what I've been doing so wrong in the past. Even though I finished the first exercise I see that this will be an never ending process of updating and refining. I used to think that I was a particulary focused person. Boy was I out to lunch! LOL

I was going through it last night too and was checking out my competition. So far I haven't found anyone selling gourds exactly how I do. I'm sort of specialized with having the exact picture of the gourd. It is time consuming to do that and no one else wants to. Boy did I see some crazy sites out there too. I was going to put one up for a review and see what Linda said about it but I already could figure that out myself. What some people are thinking, I just don't know. Martha
