Have no idea about artist, but I would guess maybe 100 dollars and sold for maybe 50,000dollars.

This painting was painted in the 1830's.

Hunt was a watercolourist who, at that time was painting with a stippled effect upon a gummed white ground.

He specialised in humerous and sentimental subjects.

He died in 1864
