Dear Lydia,

What a great subject for a forum. The learning pyramid is, no doubt, most interesting, but a big surprise as well: I had no idea the retention rates could be that low with lectures and reading. At the other end, teaching others: incredible too how it can be even more rewarding for the teacher than for the student.

Thank you for bringing us this great topic.

Miguel

Hi Lydia

There was a woman that came on Facebook the other day she needed to learn that the worse place to do anything in secret Facebook isn't the place to do it.

Someone told her Facebook was a secret Website.

What she was trying to do is sell her 2 kids to get her boyfriend out of jail and make bail.
Now she is going to court with a charge of trying to sell her kids.

I think people need to learn before they do these drastic things or her teacher gave her very wrong info.

So my point is watch out for bad info or teachers because look where she will end up now.

Hi Dennis!

A terrible story.

I hope it was sent not from my account?

The other day I received a message on facebook that someone came into my account.

I immediately changed the password.

Take care of your accounts!

This is a very true quote. Without teaching & hearing to others doubts we can't elaborate our knowledge. In my experience I found it when I taught my children. Unexpected questions come from them to our great surprise. Some of them, when we are unable to answer, then only we realize that we are not that much knowledgeable person.

Our ancestors kept most of their knowledge in secret, sad even their bloodlines don't know about them. Various inventions have perished, unknown to us in this way!

Hi Malleeswari!

Yes, it's very interesting.

Scientists say that in India, people have long been used by anti-gravity engines, but then forgot to do so.

The wisdom of the people is stored in the language and letters.

Especially interesting is the Sanskrit and the Russian language

Dear Miguel!

Yes, I found that to teach others - the most effective method of learning.

The teacher needs a student, the student pushes it forward.

The teacher can not betray the student.

Why?

Because, if the teacher will betray the student, it will no longer be a teacher.
