 Hi all, I am in a perplexing quandary that I hope someone can help me with. Last evening, around 9:30 p.m., I took a walk outside to get some fresh air. I was late getting our evening meal going, so I rushed around to get things prepared. Therefore, I got myself out of breath and needed some air. As I usually do, I looked around in the sky for nothing in particular when I spotted a bright light. Seeing a bright light was not what caught my attention. It was stationary. It was not moving at all. I wiped my eyes to get a better look. It appeared to be the lights in close proximity in a diagonal pattern at about a 30 degree angle. I went back into our apartment and got my cell phone. When I got back outside it was still there. I focused on the street lights below in the apartment complex and went upwards. I got the object in sight and snapped a picture. It did not come out, so I went back inside and got Shirley's phone, first asking her how to take a picture the right way. I went back outside and the object was still there. This time the picture took. I got the street lights in the complex and above that to the right was the object. It was too high to be a beacon on a tower and much too low to be a star or anything similar. About twenty minutes later I told Shirley that I was going outside to see if it was still there. I said that if it was, it had to be something explanable, but if it wasn't still there.....I didn't finish because Shirley does not like me even talking about little green men. It was gone. When I got the picture I could not see the three lights, just one, and it appeared even bigger then I imagined. We have been trying to transfer the picture from the cell phone to my email, but so far, it will not go over. So, does anyone have any suggestions? The other thing that puzzles me is that I have heard of UFOs being stationary in the sky for a couple of minutes but this stayed in a fixed position for at least twenty minutes or more. Plus, if it was a helicopter, there would have been a search beam coming from it. Around this object was a perfectly normal sky.
