Hello Evelyn and Peter,

There is a Deja-vu feeling in the air that whether you like it or not, reminds of Iraq and Libya cases. The problem is, war in today’s circumstances would not mean
"only" a few more thousand killings and a long, atrocious war. It would most probably mean
Armaggedon.and many thousands of innocent people killed from the start, plus World War III following almost immediately. Is that what you want, what people want? All kinds of "preventive" war, most especially in the Near-East Current scenario, have a curious smell of oil.

I will only ask, is Netanyahu aware of the fact that many people in Israel don’t want any more wars?
Sure he is. Remember, war would mean many thousands of killed Jews (including my own friends in Israel) in just a few days into it. And there is such a big amount of misinformation going on on this matter that I don’t necessarily feel like admitting any of it. Why should anyone only believe what some MS media tell?

For example, I can certainly believe Ahmadinejad threatened Israel with retaliation, but did he really ever threaten to “wipe-off” Israel? I have found several videos and articles that definitely deny it.

Also, I don’t believe labelling someone a extreme-leftist necessarily disqualifies him or her. I no longer am a right- or a left-wing person, a Democrat or a Republican. I only see a person who wants to avoid any more bloodshed occurring in the world. Want it or not, the world is changing for good. There are good signs that after all the tribulation of past years, the Lord is taking charge of his brethren and that includes all the good-will people in the world.

Hugs,

Miguel

Hi Miguel, I don't understand what you mean about "a Deja-vu feeling" and just how does this remind you of Iraq and Libya? I definitely do not want to see innocent people killed, why would you think I do? Innocent people are always killed in wars but just look at all the thousands being slaughtered in Syria and tell me who is responsible for that and would you say this also has a curious smell of oil? And the slaughter of Christians does that also have the smell of oil?
From all accounts, Netanyahu is well liked and respected by the majority of the Israeli people but it's the same everywhere, there are always going to be those who are not satisfied with anything. He definitely has his finger on the pulse of what goes on and in my opinion no one wants peace more than he does and too, you have to remember that Peter lives there and has access to many more reliable sources of information than we do.
Maybe labeling someone an extreme-leftist doesn't always disqualify someone but in my experience for the most part it does with me. We're seeing it right now here in the states of how the extreme left operate and believe me it's not a good sight.
You say the world is changing for good and to be honest, I can't see it. I'm seeing more absolute hatred everyday and am a daily victim of it. As long as there are those who are envious of others and crave power there can never be peace, peace would be nice but I have little hope myself. I also do not believe what the MSM says, maybe some, but not much. Our MSM here in the states is so biased with their reporting it is sickening. There is no true investigative reporting anymore.
I didn't watch the videos because they only prove the words were different but the meaning was the same. It is a well known fact that Israel is surrounded with enemies and if Iran does use nuclear weapons to attack them then it could very well mean Armageddon. So tell me why you approve of Iran building nuclear weapons.

Hello Evelyn & Miguel,

When you used the term deja-vu feeling in the air the first thought that came to mind is you're so right .......... about the deja-vu but not your reasoning.

To me the whole issue with Iran brings to mind the Holocaust and the agenda of the Nazis to eliminate the Jewish people from the world. He succeeded in massacring over 9,000,000 human beings 6,000,000 of them being Jews. We're once again facing another lunatic regime that wants to do the exact same thing. You can bring all the denial videos you wish Miguel but the fact remains that not a week goes by without either Ahmadinejad or their "supreme" leader Hammeni speaking about destroying Israel and the Jews and of course the United States. You can't help being aware of this unless you purposely avoid watching the reports or the myriad youtube videos documenting this. Ahmadinejad even has the temerity (or lunacy) to state this at the UN.

Regarding the MSM's reporting of these many statements I have to state that it must be undeniable and true when even the progressive liberal media have no alternative other then to report on these many statements made by the lunatic Iranian regime.

As for the extreme left here in Israel, for me they are the fifth column and self haters. They'll embrace the jihadi terrorist who murdered innocent victims and not their Israeli victims. The best example of that was the butchering of the Fogel family in Itamar last year and the extreme left came out in support of the jihadi terrorists and not the Fogel family.

I have boundaries and self hating Jews are the lowest garbage imaginable and give ammunition for people trying to advocate anti Zionism and Antisemitism.

Check your sources again and using Al Jazeera TV is laughable and isn't a reliable source quite the opposite.

Most Israelis do not want war myself included but we are realists and knowing the dangers facing us being surrounded by enemies we know that we can depend only on ourselves to determine our future. Hence the Israeli majority consensus that a preemptive strike against Iran is part of our reality. We don't want it but we won't shy away from it.

BTW, there is no comparison with the war in Iraq, Libya or Afghanistan. For us it's a question of personal survival and whether that interests you or not is irrelevant.

The better world you're talking about is a bunch of hog wash and nothing provable that it's in the coming or even a possibility at the moment. Look around you and see what's happening in Eurabia, the Scandinavian countries, in Russia, in the USA etc. and show me the better world you're talking about.

Shalom,

Peter

Happy Saturday everyone. If you live in the US or are a US citizen and regardless of political affiliations, this is a very thought provoking and a must read article from our neighbors to the north, the CFP.

There is no room for God in Communism or the ideology of socialism

Beyond politics

Doug Hagmann Saturday, September 8, 2012
As an investigator in the private sector, I’ve done more than my share of covert surveillance of individuals for various purposes - both in the civil and criminal venues. I’ve witnessed many incredible things, including people engaging in behavior that they would later deny, even after seeing themselves on video performing the very activity playing out on the TV monitor before them.
It’s an amazing thing to watch and experience. Perhaps that is the origin of the phrase, “who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?”

This scenario came to mind when I observed the events that took place at the DNC on Wednesday night, when the Democratic National Committee suspended the rules of the convention to re-insert language regarding God and Jerusalem back into its party platform. Another scenario came to mind as well, although this scenario transcends the political aspect of the events currently taking place in the United States. It has to do with the moral and spiritual health of our country as a direct result of removing God of the Holy Bible from our nation, which appears to be a very toxic subject in nearly all public venues.

The removal of God

Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” Matthew 26:34

As I watched Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the head of the Democratic National Convention call for a voice vote to amend the platform to reinstate God and Jerusalem back into its party platform, it was evident that there was not a two-thirds majority so inclined. He called for its passage three times, and each time, the response appeared to lack the needed majority. A group of Arab Americans in particular protested loudly, shouting “no” to the question of re-instatement of God and Jerusalem removed earlier from the platform. Obviously ignoring the thunderous objections and while attempting to act as normal as possible, the amendment was pushed through anyway.
I found it interesting that the measure was voted on three times, and in actuality, denied three times. That is, of course if you choose to believe your lying eyes, or in this case, your lying ears. It also brought to mind the biblical scripture when the apostle Peter chose not to believe that he would deny Christ three times, yet did. However unlikely it will be for anyone in the corporate media to make this connection, I believe we are witnessing the unfolding of biblical events as prophesized in the Holy Bible.

It is critical to understand that the removal of direct references to God from the 2012 DNC text was an active and deliberate process that changed the entire structure of the party platform. It was a deliberate omission by the Democratic party under Obama, represents an accurate platform of his beliefs (or lack thereof), and regardless of what the talking shills for Obama might say, met with his approval.

Just as the inclusion of references to God on five-(5) separate occasions in our Declaration of Independence was done with premeditation, the omissions were done with premeditation and for a purpose. Those who assert that the usage of the words faith and religion, used 11 and 9 times respectively in the 2012 DNC platform as proof of affirming that God remains well represented in the platform are being purposely disingenuous.

We are bearing witness to the unchecked erosion of our nation’s founding principles that once put God front and center. We are watching as our leaders insult and mock God, and of one thing I am certain, God will not be mocked. Even as Christians and Jews, we are standing by and allowing our leaders to convince themselves and the intellectually brainwashed and morally bankrupt people of our nation that tolerance of immorality, decadence, and evil in general is a virtue and an expression of free will that is to be defended. Are we that brainwashed into believing that the tolerance of immorality and evil is to be guarded, and so far off the mark that we are to believe that our founding documents actually advocate such behavior?

The truth is just the opposite of what we have been told by the political carnival barkers who cling to their party’s convoluted mantra of multiculturalism, a Godless religion of the Progressives and an exhibition of tolerance by all on both sides of the political spectrum except for a limited number of true, God-fearing Conservatives. While the Progressives are advocating decadence, immorality and sin under the guise of multiculturalism and the politics of inclusion, those who “go along to get along” are equally responsible for not calling out this un-Godly perversion.

The stance against Israel

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:3

Does anyone except perhaps Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow really believe that the 2012 DNC platform that omits the reference of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was not an intentional affront to the nation of Israel and the entirety of the Jewish people? While both political parties bear the moral responsibility over the last half-century for not moving the U.S. embassy to the holy city of Jerusalem, the 2012 omission was not only a deliberate poke in the eye to every Jew and Christian, but a direct poke in the eye of God.

Events, especially in politics, do not happen in a vacuum and this is no different. The Middle East is a virtual powder keg, and the fuse to the next world war has been purposely lit by the backers of Arab Spring, supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, and by the spirit of the anti-Christ that currently occupies the highest political offices in the U.S. You don’t have to be an evangelical Christian to see the prophetic implications of the most recent events at the hands of our collective leadership.

For decades, leaders of the United States have been attempting to establish a Middle East peace plan. Nearly all of our presidents have pushed Israel to give up land in exchange for peace, something that will never be met with success. Some have even urged Israel to divide the Holy City of Jerusalem, which by the way, is the only city in the Middle East where Jews, Christians and Muslims are granted the freedom to practice their own religion.

Just as the God of Christians and Jews will not be mocked, neither will He tolerate the city of Jerusalem or the nation of Israel to be divided. God makes his command known in Genesis 12:3: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Despite the unambiguous nature of God’s instructions, U.S. leaders from both sides of the political spectrum are intent on defying Him. The level of defiance has risen exponentially under the Progressive rule of Obama and the Hillary Clinton State Department. To be clear, even the Jews and Christians in America who do nothing, fail to speak out against this travesty of God’s word, will bear the collective punishment.

Again and despite this warning from God, the DNC platform omitting Jerusalem from their platform was drafted in part by Ted Strickland, former Ohio Governor and 2012 chair of the DNC platform drafting committee. Strickland is also an ordained Methodist Minister. How far will God be pushed and mocked before we suffer His wrath?

Words replaced, not deeds or intent

It is obvious that the reinstatement of God and the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on that Wednesday night was nothing more than political damage control. It was all about image and public posturing, while being void of any true substance. To the party leaders, they are just words included in a platform to placate a specific voter demographic. In actuality and in practice, it’s meaningless to the Godless and spiritually bankrupt leaders intent on pushing through a political agenda.

As noted earlier, the most vocal contingent of those opposing the re-instatement of the words and phrases omitted from the DNC platform originated from the Arab delegates. Look carefully at the reaction by some in that contingent and ask yourselves if you see true tolerance that is routinely pushed by the very party to which they belong. Look at their faces, observe their responses. Where is the tolerance?

As our immigration policies continue to permit the rending of the Judeo-Christian fabric of America, expect less tolerance, more anti-Semitic policies and contempt for Christians in the United States.

In 2008, Barack Hussein Obama promised to fundamentally transform the United States, and he indeed has. Like it or not, he has implemented or advanced many of the “planks” that make up the Communist goals of 1963 as read into the Congressional Record on January 10th of that year. There is no room for God in Communism or the ideology of socialism, and Obama has personally or through his proxies done much to implement his fundamental changes as outlined in those Communist objectives. The Progressives are supporting him, and the majority of the right are allowing the agenda to continue with nary a whimper.

God help us all.

Hi Evelyn,

What a great article. I read it when I received the CFP newsletter in my inbox. The author hit the nail on every issue he raised and all in all shows the reluctance of the American people to take a stance and say that God can't be removed from our life by presidential decree.

We know that B Hussein knew that both Jerusalem and God will be removed from the Democratic platform and not only didn't he object he was probably behind the move to do so. We all know he prefers Islam and is most probably a closet muslim and his islamic agenda is proof of that. Everything he's done since taking office is proof of that starting with his Cairo speech and now with the removal of God and Jerusalem from their platform. Shame the public furor was so great they had to do some damage control and pass the "amendments" to the platform even though they didn't have the the two thirds majority they needed. The chair decided it passed while all viewers saw that it didn't.

Thanks for posting this must read article.

Shalom,

Peter
