For those who, like me, are TIRED of the status quo, here is an option you may not know about.....
 Our forefathers created an option in Article 5 of the US Constitution that allows 2/3’s of the States to request an Article 5 Convention for the purpose of proposing an Amendment to the US Constitution. After the Amendment is presented at the Convention, if it is then ratified by ¾’s of the States, it becomes part of the US Constitution, WITHOUT THE INVOLVEMENT OR APPROVAL OF THE US CONGRESS. This is the panic button that they created for our nation should the US Congress evolve into a corrupt ruling class of society, rather than the representatives of the people. There is no doubt that this aristocratic mindset has been going on for decades, but the flagrant disregard for the welfare of our country and ourselves is becoming more pronounced in each passing year. WE HAVE NO CHOICE! It is time to press the panic button. We must use the power given to the people and the States in Article 5 to rein in the US Congress. The US Congress was never intended to be a CAREER. It was not intended to be a lucrative business opportunity for the wealthy to become much more wealthy. It was not intended to be a platform on which corrupt politicians could spend 20, 30, or 40 years building their personal empires at our expense. We must impose TERM LIMITS on the US Congress. 75% of Americans agree. Some will argue that there is no need for Term Limits. That is what voting is for. If voting worked, we wouldn’t be in this situation right now. Exit polls have shown that too many voters are irresponsible, voting based on name recognition, party lines, or media exposure prior to the election.. Getting a career politician out of the US Congress is nearly impossible. This is NOT an answer to all of our problems and it won’t be easy. But, this IS the first step, which will open the door to more effectively dealing with all of our other problems in the future.
