Hey again Kenneth, I am taking a blogging class and they are saying just the opposite about the effectiveness of third party hosting vs. self hosting. For example, they are saying that because I use Typepad as the third party host, the search engines are going to pick up "typepad" instead of my own domain which is self-hosted. That makes sense to me, but I also know that the key words used in the posts themselves have a great affect too. So now I have a domain which includes the key words I want to use and that is where I am beginning my new blog with Word Press. Thanks for the information provided here!
