Thanks Kenneth. I'm getting better.. I'm in $40 profit in Adsense with my blogs so far, so I know I'm on the right track. And I finally got a headliner for my blog in my sig lines after I finally figured out Feedburner. Wish I could post it here. Anyway.. thanks again.

Your training is so great! I'm going to try the Links strategy you have here. My problem is updating my blog with fresh content every day-I haven't posted anything for quite a while so I need to add that to my "to-do"list. There just isn't enough time in the day!! Thanks so much for inviting me, have a great week and God bless you,

Hi Kenneth, Thanks for that information about blogging. I am in process of moving my blogs from Typepad (a third party host) to Worpress (self-hosted). Do you have any suggestions for moving content over? And do you agree that a self-hosted blog is more attractive to the search engines?

Hello Linda, Being that blog contents are individual entries this may take some time transfering. If you have images in your posts and hyperlinks I would suggest a copy and paste into Word so it can handle the images and links. If your posts are just text Notepad will work as well. You'll need to consider if you wish to keep the post the way they were, dated and time stamped, if they were catagorized and so forth. You may also look to see if you can copy your template if you wish to transfer it as well. I, personally, type all of my entries in a text editor first and save the file. Then copy and post to my blog so if something were ever to happen to my blog I have all of my data. As to your question, I quote "And do you agree that a self-hosted blog is more attractive to the search engines?" I have not found anything to validate that question. The search engines look at content and not the host. I think it would be the opposite and I'll use Blogger for example. I've noticed that blogs within a 'collective' have a better chance of being backlinked to each other by the host that supplies this type of service (backlinking) than to a blog outside of the host. There are third party directories that help with backlinking to all blogs, like technorati, but it's still not guaranteed you'll get the backlinking. Some blog owners don't allow it. The SE's are getting picky of who they list since many are copying from one place and posting it in their blogs. Fresh content is what the SE's are after and then backlinking. Who is linked to who is becoming a big draw for the SE's also. How many links, what catagory ... it's getting almost as bad as it is with websites. But content is still king for now.
