Something to know about the ship Calyspo, the ship was built as a minesweeper. The reason for a wood hull,it would not cause magnetic mines to explode. And the ship was made in Seattle Washington,USA. One time when the Calyspo was in Seattle for repairs, my Grandmother took us to see the ship, the crew brought us onboard and gave us a tour of the ship. I did not know the value of the Calypso then, but I do now.

Myrna I had forgotten all about Danny Kaye. Thanks for this video. There have been some really great entertainers in my life time and a lot of them I have forgotten so it is always good to be reminded of one.
