10_1_136.gifHi Roger,
Both pictures on this page are fantastic. I will be checking back shortly to catch up. I have done oil painting in the past, but have never tried knife painting. I would imagine that it takes a lot of concentration to get things just right. I just don't have that kind of constipation, I mean concentration.
As he was a countryman of yours, I would like to ad that it was sad to hear the news of Dan Wheldon. He left behind two young sons that will never know his love.
GOD BLESS YOU
~Mike~

(P.S. A makeshift memorial has been set up at the gate of the Indy 500 Race track. Many fans have left flowers, milk (Traditional drink of Indy 500 winners)pictures and notes.)

Thanks Mike,

Yes, a fair amount of concentration. The hard thing for me is not to be too fussy and intricate. With a knife it's nescessary to work quickly. Very different.

Appreciate your respectful sadness. Great driver who spoke of the risks before the race. These guys take a huge risk. It's so hard on young families who can never really be prepared for loss. My prayers join those of your countrymen and those here affected.

Roger

My dear Sir Roger,

You have painted your own beautiful stallion. There is so much life in him.

I am doing a screenshot of it for my dear Princess Raymonde. (I hope you don't mind me doing that). She is horse crazy and goes on her pony nearly every day. She will love your stallion.

I have never tried oils and certainly not knife painting. That may be a bit dangerous in my case. If my hands started shaking or jumping too much the knife might go flying.

I will leave this to you and stay with my writing. I have been asked to write and produce two pieces which I am working on at the mo. Each to his or her own creative talents! And you certainly have a talent here. Beautiful, my dear Sir Roger!

Angel cuddles,

Sarah
