Having overheard somebody say about the people in Libya not being civilised I was led to think how hard the struggle for democracy was for most who now enjoy it. It's only been less than a couple of centuries since my Irish and English ancestors were hanging people for minor theft. All nations suffer to ascend. Because we all have different standards we tend still to generalize. HOW DARE WE? How dare we pick and choose Just who we will help and who we will use? We're led to believe that it's morally right To get involved in anothers fight . But from all of the words the truth emerges When an ageing politician, his conscience he purges How dare we think that we know best And that civilisation lies just in the West
