Hi Winston;
Your post contained exactly what I was hoping to see! (ie; a rough goal)
=========================================
Ideally though, the goal for this coming year would be to move into working from home on a full-time basis by mid year (June-July).
=========================================
There's a goal I can relate to! If that was my goal (as it was many years ago) the first thing I'd do is break it down into incremental growth steps.
For example, if I was making $1,000/month now, and need to make $5,000 to be able to work from home fulltime, then an incremental growth plan could look something like this;
Now: $1,000/month
January: $1330/month (prev month x 1.33)
February: $1768/month (prev month x 1.33)
March: $2350/month (prev month x 1.33)
April: $3120/month (prev month x 1.33)
May: $4161/month (prev month x 1.33)
June: $5535/month (prev month x 1.33)
It's a lot easier to wrap one's mind around incremental steps. Like eating an elephant.... one bite at a time. Once you break a goal into steps, it's easier to tackle them because you can start to ask yourself how and where you can make those dollars.
As another example, the possiblity of earning $100,000.00 per year online would be more than a dream come true for most people. But, the "how" eludes them. It seems like such a jump from making little or nothing that they don't know where to start.
Broken into steps, it's easier to figure out.
To make $100,000.00 online in a year;
Sell 100,000 things that pay you $1 each.
Sell 20,000 things that pay you $5 each.
Sell 10,000 things that pay you $10 each.
Sell 5,000 things that pay you $20 each.
Sell 4,000 things that pay you $25 each.
Sell 2,000 things that pay you $50 each.
Sell 1,000 things that pay you $100 each.
Sell 200 things that pay you $500 each.
Sell 100 things that pay you 1,000 each.
The best way to achieve a goal is to figure it out in writing. Pen and paper, or notepad and keyboard.
: )
