Hi Roger,

Both editors, the one we have now and the one we had before are the two most popular third party add-ons and are used very commonly on the Internet, the same way as here. There is not much we can do with this without reprogramming the whole thing.

The problems most of the time people have are due to copying an pasting. If they create content using the editor from scratch there are few problems.

To give you short answer. It is not easy to reprogram it without purchasing the source code and even then there will be issues as internet is evolving and continually new features are being added to the browsers and new browsers are introduced to the markets, which editor not necessarily takes into account. Not all browsers support standards in the uniform ways.

Bogdan

Thanks Bogdan.

I thought that it might be the case.

It may well be something to do with the program or the formatting that causes the occasional bleep.

It is odd that the default font displays as Times Roman but the font that actually appears is a non-serif face. It's a pity because Times is a popular and good font.

Not worth a lot of work but a point of interest.

Hello Roger,

What do you mean by Old Adland library?

Bogdan

Bogdan,

I will get Bill to come here and tell you what he means.

I seem to remember that we had resource library somewhere?

I will check this with our programmers.

I found out when using Firefox it will not center the post, I center it and it goes it's own way. I used Chrome the other day and it centers just fine. So looks like it is a browser problem, not on here. I haven't tried IE, but I will

Myrna,

I have had the centering problem sometimes even with IE but most of the time it's ok.

I do have paragraph problems though.

If you bring a Word document here the paragraphs disappear.

I cheat and put a period but IN WHITE so that when it is posted it appears as a blank line.

The development of stores would be to find a way to make it more visible as it is a good idea.If you could see the products directly on someone´s webpage with an image of it, instead here on Adland it would be more visible.

I think this is good idea. I will put it on the list of our tasks. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bogdan

This is great progress.

I want to assure Bogdan that this won't be all problems to solve.

Good suggestions are what we are about. I think that some great things will come from this discussion.
