Okay, I give up. This is for the Admins, or whoever thought that it would be cute, or a great idea, to destroy the enjoyment of this Community for me, and for anyone else not interested in being bombarded with ADS, by blocking access to the Profiles and the Forums everytime one visits, with a constant PopUp Advertisement. I guess my About Me isn't clear enough when I say in part...

"Quite simply, I'm just not looking for that next great deal, that next great money-maker, or that newest and greatest Program any longer."

Can I get rid of the annoying Pop-Up that attacks me every time I try to visit a Profile or to make a post into a Forum, either by Blocking it or destroying it, or whatever it takes. I love Adland just like a second home, and I'll miss my Friends terribly if I have to leave, but either it's going to have to go, or I will. It's just not worth the harrassment. I realize the bottom line is that you're in this to make money, but this is just too much for me. Can you help?

Is it the "Business opportunity" pop-up at the foot of page? I get that but it doesn't get in the way.

Otherwise I get no other pop-ups.

That new pop up is Soooooooooooooooo annoying. I dislike it alot!

it is the stupid Increase traffic to your website at the bottom. even coming close to it and it pops open. Pat

Now, I can't remember where the quote came from at the moment but it just struck me it fit here.

Our CEO Bogdan Fiedur, with the help of our friend Roger Macdivitt, has been willing to come here and give us the opportunity to voice opinions and ask questions. Not many communities offer that luxury and if you can contact management at all you are lucky. I appreciate the effort being done to make this a better community (I think it is great as is!). My FRIENDS LIVE HERE!

There has been a concerted effort to remove or stop as much spam as possible before you are slammed with it. As long as a person makes a positive statement in a profile without an ad, we have no objection. When a person comes in for a short time to only advertise and hits all the advertising forums, that is not a problem. They are on a limited time schedule trying to make a living and some are succeeding at it by doing just that.

Phil, I am sorry about your problems and misgivings with Adland. You know how we treasure your presence here and hope things can be worked out.

Pat, sweetie, that has happened to many of us at various times. For instance in trying to prepare for a new art exhibit and losing the entire thing. I think it is an operator problem (me). What I do now is put it in MSWord, so that I have a backup copy.

Many times I get so frustrated even here at home and I try to just stop and think of why am I frustrated. A trip to the mirror shows me the problem, it is staring me in the face!

I saw the new popup yesterday for the first time, it does not annoy me but I can understand it might some people.

Adland has become a Home to many of us and we have great friendships. It is this desire to please as many as possible and retain the love and "Friends Helping Friends" that will make us succeed. If some of you have faced and dealt with similar problems as our friends Phil and Pat, please offer your suggestions or solutions.

Does the pop up, $ Increase traffic to your website. (lower right of screen) Annoy you. It gets in the way. It is a blooming pest.

Be good. If you can't be good, be careful.
