The superior man seeks what is right; the inferior one, what is profitable.

Quote:
[if !mso]> [endif]BY A 15 yr. OLD SCHOOL KID

New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME)!

Bible 2 Prayer

Since the Pledge of Allegiance

And

The Lord's Prayer

Are not allowed in most

Public schools anymore

Because the word 'God' is mentioned.....

A kid in Arizona wrote the attached

NEW School prayer:

Now I sit me down in school

Where praying is against the rule

For this great nation under God

Finds mention of Him very odd.

If scripture now the class recites,

It violates the Bill of Rights.

And anytime my head I bow

Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,

That's no offense; it's a freedom scene..

The law is specific, the law is precise.

Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall

Might offend someone with no faith at all..

In silence alone we must meditate,

God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,

And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks...

They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.

To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,

And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.

It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,

We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong..

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles..

But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,

When chaos reigns the school's a mess.

So, Lord, this silent plea I make:

Should I be shot; My soul please take!

Amen

If you aren't ashamed to do this, Please pass this on..

Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'

Not ashamed. Pass this on.

A small but enthusiastic group of patriots from every walk of life came together on a Thursday night to greet Daren Gardner as he rolled into Atlanta on his Constitution Ride across America! This was the most exciting and diverse tea party ever, and should be the model for Tea Parties across America as all good people unite: "Latino, Black, and White", against the Leftist takeover of our beloved Nation, where all citizens are equal before God and the law!

On March 27, 2010 writer Frank Rich was quoted in the New York Times Op-Ed section The Tea Party movement is virtually all white. Is this true? He then closed his article with Are these politicians so frightened of offending anyone in the Tea Party-Glenn Beck base that they would rather fall silent than call out its extremist elements and their enablers? Many media outlets, including MSNBC, the Washington Post, CNN, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Huffington Post among others are insinuating that there is racism in the Tea Party movement. Take a look for yourself.

Filmed on April 15, 2010 in Freedom Plaza and at the Washington Monument in Washington D.C.

My Daily Roast interviews Brannon King, a TEA Party activist who is concerned about the proper role of government, as well as free markets. He cites the French thinker, Fredric Bastiat, and later speaks about specific taxation practices which he disapproves of.

Really, does this activist represent the image of the uninformed, bigoted "teabagger" as propagated by the mainstream media?

RE: MADE In the USA -- “I stand with Israel”

Beck: “I stand with Israel”

Glenn gave a passionate condemnation of US foreign policy on tonight’s TV show. As the Middle East continues to burn, the United States – and most of the world for that matter – have not taken a firm stance in alliance with Israel. Instead, the administration has been silent as groups like the Muslim Brotherhood start to work their way into power in Egypt and other countries.

Glenn makes a compelling argument, noting that Israel is the only country in the Middle East that shares American values. They are constantly provoked and attacked, yet despite having a heavy nuclear arsenal they have not launched a single one. In Israel, unlike most other Middle Eastern countries, women are treated equally and people aren’t stoned for their sexual orientation. Nevertheless, the United States has – at it’s best – remained silent.

But as Glenn also noted, there are those high up in the administration that would stand against Israel, such as Samantha Power (Mrs. Cass Sunstein), who has argued that the United States should shift their support from Israel and focus on the creation of a Palestinian State. They use the doctrine of a “Responsibility to Protect” to say the US and its allies should move against Israel in support of the Palestinian State, the same doctrine that President Obama used to move against Libya without congressional approval. You can see her make the argument in this video:

A bit of a history lesson and a wake up call.
Read both parts

REMEMBER THE U.S. CONSTITUTION
PART 1

By Debra Rae
March 26, 2011
NewsWithViews.com

Most agree that life is fraught with danger. Not all threats are physical, but most are birthed out of ideologies. Hitler’s Germany provides a prime example. At the Führer’s bidding, Heinrich Himmler executed Hitler’s Final Solution. By some counts, persecution and genocide, carried out in stages, resulted in up to seventeen million victims.[1]

Expanding their concept of the Aryan race, today’s Neo-Nazis promise a wannabe utopia every bit as autocratic as Hitler’s Germany; and globalists advance their own version of dictatorial democratic trans-federalism.

What was needed throughout the season of Hitler’s reign of terror is precisely what’s required today—namely, the WOW factor. By this I mean “watchmen on the wall.” In the mid-1930s Albert Einstein was one such watchman. His fear was that Nazi scientists might develop the world’s first atomic bombs. Hence, in 1939, Einstein urged President Roosevelt to launch an American program of nuclear research.

As a watchman on the wall, Einstein sounded the alarm with history-altering results. All the more today watchmen are needed to expose ideological threats not unlike those that were egregiously acted upon in the 1930s and 1940s.

A Strong Defense

From very early history to modern times, city walls served as fortifications, if not fortresses. The term, “fortification,” is derived from the Latin fortis ("strong") and facere ("to make"). It speaks to “making strong” one’s defense from enemy intrusion.

Those appointed to guard a city, or the headquarters of an army, were positioned with strategic advantage atop the wall around that city. Able to see in the distance, watchmen on these walls forewarned fellows of impending danger, thereby inspiring appropriate preparations and timely defensive action.

Vestiges of ancient defenses remain even today. In 1971, I visited Persepolis, the capital of the Persian Empire located NE of Shiraz—this, for the 2,500-year celebration of Iran’s monarchy. Persepolis defenses “made strong” this vast and powerful empire, which stretched from the Mediterranean to the River Indus. The bastion fortress was partly cut out of a mountain. Its terraces’ uneven foundation acted like a castle, and angled walls enabled its defenders to target any section of the external front.

A Defenseless America

All the more today, one’s national defense from enemy intrusion is required, but effectiveness is not limited to manning state-of-the-art armies, erecting bastion fortresses or, as the case may be, installing heavily guarded border fences. Indeed, ours is an ideological—more precisely, a spiritual warfare—against the God of the Bible and His handiwork. Whether shots are fired, or not, the battle we face is every bit as real.

In his letter to President George Bush dated 25 December 2000, Mikhail Gorbachev insisted that America’s extraordinary privilege is not tenable over the long run. To the contrary, Marxist ideals propel the one-world vision he hawks. A Robin Hood approach to wealth distribution is classic Marxism, which demands “equitable distribution” of the world’s finite resources.

Indeed, the Marxist-Leninist maxim of “earning one’s keep on planet earth” is at the heart of the UN sustainability principle. To merit this coveted status, enlightened communities must limit growth, eliminate suburbs, establish ethnic/economic equality, and curtail consumption patterns consistent with America’s middle class.

The socialist principle of government-managed development, sustainable development calls for revamping the very infrastructure of our nation away from private ownership and control of property to nothing short of a national zoning system through which producers are expected to provide for non-producers. Good global citizens are herded out of the suburbs into urban clusters more easily controlled and regulated by UN-empowered special interest groups.

Her Defenseless Foundation

America’s premiere ideological defense was called “a miracle” at its adoption. The oldest written compilation of the fundamental laws of a nation, the United States Constitution, lays down our system of government. It further defines relations of the legislature, executive, and judiciary to each other and to citizens.

Its preamble gives rise to “a more perfect union” (not the “global village”), establishes justice (not exclusively for the world’s downtrodden), ensures domestic tranquility (not by militarizing police), provides for common defense (not under a UN banner) and general welfare (not excluding the unborn or unfit); and it secures blessings of liberty: private property, religious expression, freedom of speech, and limited government. But these very ideals are now under attack.

In fact, trendy “living Constitutionalism” renders this “miracle” up for grabs. To undermine the divinely inspired and unique political perspective of what Trinity Law Professor James Hirsen identifies as “the grand experiment we call America,” each sphere of culture that influences society is targeted for the taking—e.g., arts and entertainment, business, education, family, government, media, and religion.

Be sure the political apparatus of our current administration, Organizing for America, seeks to fundamentally transform the United States of America by means of a new convention to amend her Constitution.[2]

Should thirty-four states petition Congress to issue the call, then (according to Article 5) amendments (plural) must be considered by respective states—e.g., amendments to balance the budget, to limit debt, and to repeal acts passed by Congress, the 17th Amendment (election of Senators by popular vote), and the electoral college. The floodgates would be open to gay-, abortion-, and gun control- advocates—for that matter, all special interests.

In a letter to George Turberville (2 November 1788), James Madison warned: “If a General Convention were to take place for the avowed and sole purpose of revising the Constitution, it would naturally consider itself as having a greater latitude than the Congress appointed to administer and support as well as to amend the system.” The Founder’s warning is no less relevant today.[3]

Her Enemies from Within

With or without rules of order, the “guy with the gavel” (not rule makers) would control such a convention, and no doubt the mainstream media would opportunistically manipulate the reins of public opinion. Aggressive partisanship, agitation, chaos, and controversy would surely follow.

Political correctness dictates that, as progressive, living Constitutionalists increasingly succumb to worldviews at odds with Bible truth, Christians gradually forfeit the same liberty afforded earth pagans who worship Gaia; Muslims who worship the Moon God, Allah; and neo-pantheists who worship “the god within.” Only when it’s too late will the underlying nature of Bible-free dictatorial globalism come to light.

John Adams once pointed out that the U.S. Constitution is “made only for a moral and religious people.” Accordingly, devout lovers of God, truth, freedom, family, and righteousness must plant themselves as watchmen on city walls, as it were, in order to spot, identify, then sound the alarm at the presence of encroaching danger. They must insist that representatives in Congress “make strong” the “miracle” of our republic—this, by strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution.

Only then can America prove Gorbachev wrong and maintain her “extraordinary privilege” over the long run. For part two click below.

Hi Jim, here's an excellent article from our neighbors to the north, the Canada Free Press.

Our floundering economy? Our activist trial-lawyers and judges? Our racially bigoted DOJ? Our corrupt and venal Congress? Our pathetic educational/indoctrination system? Our porno industry? Hollywood? Our tattered US Constitution?

Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Burning Qur’ans
- Jim O'Neill Wednesday, April 6, 2011

“There are such ‘social values’ today in Europe, America and Australia only because [for a] thousand years, the Christians of Europe possessed the warlike power to do what the Christians of Asia and Africa had failed to do—that is, to beat back the Moslem [sic] invader.”—Theodore Roosevelt (1858 -1919) Twenty-sixth President of the United States
“This is a piece of theater set up…by the bipartisan group that loves to intervene abroad. ...This is all about democracy in a world where democracy is not going to take hold. ...Both parties love to intervene in other countries where there is no US interest at stake, and where we spend enormous amounts of money at a time when we are nearly bankrupt. That doesn’t seem to me to be a wise practice of American statesmanship”—
Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer
America’s involvement in Libya (not to mention Afghanistan and Iraq) is, as Mr. Scheuer points out, not “a wise practice of American statesmanship”—not at all. In fact, whatever synonym for the opposite of “wise” you might care to mention, could be used to describe America’s attempts to democratize Muslim countries—stupid, asinine, foolish, boorish, misguided, lame, etc. Thank you, Mr. Scheuer, for telling it like it is, MTFBWY.
I should mention at the outset of this article that because another article of mine raised related issues, I have copied a few paragraphs whole-cloth from the other article. Faithful readers should take note, and be prepared for a possible déjà vu echo effect. What the heck, the truth bears repeating.
America is now bogged down in three different “tar baby” wars to help democratize the Muslim world. Allow me to suggest that America bring our troops home, and get our own house in order, before we even think about exporting “what we have” to other countries.
What is it exactly that the Muslim world is in such dire need of anyway? Our floundering economy? Our activist trial-lawyers and judges? Our racially bigoted DOJ? Our corrupt and venal Congress? Our pathetic educational/indoctrination system? Our porno industry? Hollywood? Our tattered US Constitution? What is it exactly, that is so precious, so important, so valuable that we absolutely must gift the Muslims with it? I’m listening.
That’s what I thought. So if America doesn’t really have that much to offer—until we get our own house in order—wouldn’t you say that should be our first order of business? Otherwise all we are doing is exporting the mess, and not the message.
The message is the US Constitution. The message is free enterprise and capitalism

And what is our message, or rather, what should our message be? The message is the US Constitution. The message is free enterprise and capitalism. The message is rule of law in a free republic. The message is one man, one vote. The message is lost, and until we get it back we have no business at all in trying to straighten out anybody else’s house.
We should bring our troops home and deal with the threat the Islamists pose right here in America. Right here, right now. We need to deal with an invasion taking place across our southern border—right here, right now. We need to deal with a corrupt and traitorous Congress—right here, right now. We need to deal with an economy in a nose-dive—right here, right now. We need to deal with a rootless, litigious, licentious culture—right here, right now. We have quite enough on our plate right at home. Right here, right now.
I am not saying that we should withdraw all of our troops from overseas. We are, after all, involved in a global war with Islamists (not merely just terrorists). But this suicidal nonsense of colonizing the Muslim world piecemeal has got to stop.
Where next? The Ivory Coast? Yemen? The idiots who have embroiled our country in these overseas fiascos had better rethink their “strategy,” and quickly.
For example, how are we supposed to “win” in Libya? The US has adroitly positioned itself so that If Mohamar Qaddafi wins, we lose. If the rebels win, we lose. And please don’t try and give me some song and dance about Islamic sharia being equivalent to Western democracy—it’s not, and never will be.
Besides, the United States was designed to be a republic, not a democracy; so if we are in the business of exporting anything, it should be free republics, not theocratic totalitarian “democracies.”
I don’t want to give anyone the wrong idea here—it is not like I’m an anti-war activist or something. I mean of course I deplore war, any sane person does, but I feel that war is sometimes an unavoidable necessity. However, I am also a firm believer in “get in, do your business, and get out.” I’m from the Vietnam era—call me “gun shy,” regarding long-term, “hearts and minds,” overseas, military entanglements.

I’ve long ago had to make peace with the idea that brave and patriotic men and women can be misused, mislead, and misdirected, for less than noble reasons. The fact that America “lost” in Vietnam doesn’t diminish in the slightest, the valor, integrity, and sacrifice of those who fought in Vietnam. They didn’t fail—their country failed them.
Those who fought in Vietnam were not allowed to win that war—for political reasons—but that in no way takes away from their honor. I feel the same way about those who have fought and/or died in our war(s) against the Islamists. Their honor is intact, win or lose, that’s a given.
I respect our service men and women. I especially honor those who have sacrificed physically, or mentally/emotionally (or spiritually) on behalf of our country. And most of all, I honor those who “gave the last full measure,” and died in the service of the United States, I am proud of them, and grateful for them. May God bless them all, and their families.
But to keep pretending that America’s best interests are served by colonizing the Muslim world would disrespect not only the troops who are serving, it would dishonor the memories of everyone who has ever fought for the United States of America—from the Revolutionary War, on up until the present day. If America falls, all of their sacrifices throughout the centuries—all of it—will have been for naught.
Am I for a long-term commitment to defeating the Islamists? Absolutely, you bet. Am I for a long-term commitment to “colonizing” the Islamic world? No frigging way. Here’s an idea: Bring our troops home from Afghanistan, and deploy them along the US southern border, and start kicking some drug cartel butt. Now there’s a war that makes sense to me.
Bring our troops home and give them some sane ROE (Rules of Engagement), and leaders with patriotic hearts, leaders who take their oath to defend the Constitution earnestly. The current crop of Pentagon officials seem all too emblematic of the species of “traitorous americanus” that currently infests our three branches of government, our media, academia, the military, and our country at large.
It is not part of the military’s job description to dictate national policy, of course, but neither is it their job to fecklessly acquiesce to absurd ROEs, ill-advised invasions, and suicidally asinine globalist agendas. (Don’t get me started on the current effort to make the US military LBGT compliant.
If you doubt that the US military has been “dumbed down and indoctrinated,” then I suggest you look into the behavior of the US Army before, and after, Islamist Major Nidal Hasan shot 32 people—13 of whom died. The “walking on eggshells” treatment surrounding Hasan’s Muslim connections, speaks volumes about how deeply in denial certain elements of the US military are regarding who and what an enemy consists of.
Whenever confronted face to face with the evil of Islamist radicalism, rather than react with judicious integrity, the military high-command has more often than not displayed a deluded dithering. They have been politically corrected into spineless court eunuchs. Oh they will strut and crow with the best of them, but they are spineless where, and when, it counts.
The military’s refusal to honor their oath to defend the US Constitution is abhorrent , and blatant. We have a top-notch military officer sitting in Fort Leavenworth prison for daring to insist that he be given proof that his CINC is who he says he is. The US Army’s betrayal, and rail-roading of LTC Lakin is beyond despicable. It has all the rancid smell of the Dreyfus Affair, and the aura of Vidkun Quisling. Does the term “misprision of felony” ring any bells?
The current top brass of the US military—from Secretary of Defense Gates on down— should be reevaluated for integrity and patriotism, and the curriculum at West Point and Annapolis looked into, and revised as needed. America needs for its warriors to be honorable patriots, not cunning corporate climbers with the proper politically correct credentials.
Is a coup by patriotic elements within the US military called for? I pray it doesn’t come down to that—but I hope that plans are in place should it become necessary. Make no mistake, the survival of the United States as a constitutional republic is in grave jeopardy. If push comes to shove, certain elements within the US military must be prepared to act with alacrity and vigor to protect our country.
The manure will no doubt hit the fan following such a move, and we are not some banana republic for God’s sake, where such actions might be expected. But as the US system of checks and balances moves inexorably toward being dissolved by a totalitarian political elite intent on a global hegemony, the s—t is going to hit the fan in any event. Best to instigate such a happening at the choosing of patriotic elements within our military. As I said, I pray it doesn’t come to that—but if come it must, then I say, “¡Viva la Revolución!”
One last time—we need to get our own house in order before we even think about exporting “what we have.”
Forget “Pax Americana,” we need to save “E Pluribus Unum.”
We don’t need to just “take America back,” or “draw a line in the sand.” Following a time-honored tradition, it is time to take the United States that was given to us, and transform it into something greater, something better, than we received. Something that we can pass on to future generations with pride. We must restore the Framer’s vision of a vital, ever-evolving, pluralistic republic of laws and freedom, under God’s providence. (Link)

Be that as it may, I would like to wrap up this article by addressing the topic of the recent burning of the Qur’an by Pastor Terry Jones, the subsequent riots in Afghanistan, and the politically correct response as typified by Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) comments.
When did it become America’s national policy to tip-toe past the school-yard bully in hopes he might not notice us? It is well known that the Islamists will demonstrate, riot, and throw fatwas at the drop of a hat. If the poor dears are so overly sensitive to any slight, imagined or otherwise, then that is THEIR f—king problem, not ours. This “walking on eggshells” attitude has got to go.
For a patriotic response to the media/political-elite reaction to Pastor Jones’ Qur’an burning, you might want to check out Anne Barnhardt’s video on You Tube. Anne brings her feminine charms into play, and discusses the topic in a much more sedate and reasoned manner then I ever would. Personally, I think that the American media’s coverage of the situation, and most of the comments from our political elites has been deplorably wimpish, but what else are “we the people” to expect from “traitorous americanus?”

In conclusion, as the coming birth certificate juggernaut rapidly gathers steam, I would suggest that the Secret Service be on special alert, as the Powers That Be may soon decide that Obama would better serve as a fresh sacrificial lamb, than a tarnished Trojan Horse.
Laus Deo.
