I am going to agree with you, because it is something that I have been thinking of also and the way you have worded it is well said and in fact, I'm unsure what I could add... it makes more sense to have a person of the month for many reasons...

I am back, near as healthy as possible.

I appreciate the nominees, though some folks have expressed non participation. Mainly past winners. We are looking for new blood so to speak.

So perhaps moving to a once per month occurrence will add more new blood and excitement. Plus this would add value to the prize/ s offered.
