Archangel Michael: Your Time of Joy is at Hand, channeled by Ron Head, August 18, 2013 at: http://oraclesandhealers.wordpress.com/

Today we will speak of lighter things. We will speak of the great amount of light which you are absorbing every minute of every hour of your days. We will congratulate you on having brought your world to the very brink of massive but peaceful change.

The Divine has had a huge influence upon this, certainly. But it is you who, as you like to put it, have your boots on the ground that have been making the greatest inroads into the change in the very energy field which creates your reality. Never could this have been done without your intent, your dedication, and your steadfast determination

You have learned that the most important and far reaching changes are those you make within, and you have never avoided the work that requires. The results of what you have done, and what you continue to do, reach far beyond what you can yet imagine. You have attracted the attention and accolades of everyone in this universe and even beyond.

This has all been told to you before, but on this day, hear it all in one place. Hold this dear to your hearts, dear friends. Use it to reassure yourselves often.

You are now on the very steepest part of your journey. As you well know by now, this is not an easy path to walk. It never has been. But the signs of your impending victory are beginning to appear now.

They will be ignored at first. They will be disguised at times. They will be derided, certainly. But you will see them, and they will be true. Your time of joy is at hand. If you could hear the applause you are receiving even now, it would be deafening.

Go in peace now, and go in joy. We remain in your hearts and in your service. Good day.

GaiaPortal via EirePort: Golden Sparkles Pervade All Gaia Beings at All Levels

GaiaPortalGaiaPortal by EirePort: Golden Sparkles Pervade all Gaia Beings at all Levels, August 18, 2013 – http://wp.me/p2sFUY-nF

Golden sparkles pervade all Gaia beings at all levels as full Higher Energetic activation has completed.

This in readiness for completion of selected local protocols, individual, collective, and Higher Dimensional.

Simultaneous freeing of all Hue-Being restrictions completes initial ascension phase.

“Standard” protocols have been overridden and transcended.

Exponential increase in Higher Dimensional visibles now proceeds.

A Noisy Birth

Ecstacy 22What a difficult time this is. One minute, I’m wracked with stress, the next, uplifted with love.

The stress comes from watching the vagaries of the financial markets. The coming of the reval will mean an easing of our situation here, but without it we’re bathed in stress.

And every day brings rumors that it’s happened and rumors that it hasn’t.

If it comes soon, this team will let out a collective cheer! If it doesn’t come soon, we’ll be about as stressed as anyone can imagine.

Financial issues bring up survival concerns in all of us like nothing else can. Soon it’ll be gone forever but not yet.

And one moment of stress is followed by a moment of bliss when I could fall on my knees like Walt Whitman and cry out my love for the Divine Mother, the celestials, and the masters! And without fail the love carries the stress away for a time. (Is that why I’m experiencing it, Boss? Is this you taking the stress away?)

As an awareness writer, I don’t get to hide when I feel stressed. I hid out for a day and then I said to myself, “This will not do. Stress is just another aspect of Ascension.”

Those who man other stations can lay low, but there’s no lying low when you do this kind of writing. It’s part of the job to describe the stress. Others may call it maudlin, but I know it’s in alignment with my mission.

So here I am one minute stressed, one minute ecstatic, one minute empty of thoughts, the next minute racing for the computer. Here I am in the lobby of a supermarket, can’t wait to get home, can’t even wait to get on the bus. Have to let the frozen goods thaw and write before I explode!

A part of the growth that’s happening is coming about because I’m going through my past readings with AAM and the Arcturians and taking out anything that can help me in the time ahead.

And they’re speaking of a challenging role, so challenging its scares the daylights out of me, and they’re telling me about my past lives and shenanigans on other planets. And, just as they were trying to do so hard some months back, it is in fact waking me up.

While on the bus, I found myself sitting in a certain posture and knew I had sat like that millennia ago in a forest camp. I knew it. I saw it.

Another moment I noticed that I was sitting exactly the way I did in the meditation workshop, more than a year ago – regally. Something wants to come out. I know it does.

I listened to the interview with Laura Eisenhower and Dr. Dream quite by accident the other day. I pressed the wrong button on my iPhone, which took me there. I hadn’t listened to the interview ever before and I was blown away.

Holy mackerel, I have learned something in all these years. Maybe not elegantly done but a complete overview. And seeing that in a flash woke me up some more.

This “me” in here that’s struggling to be known is forcing itself awake, rising to the surface and presenting itself. I’m about as close to laughter and tears, all at the same time, as a pregnant mother.

It’s a difficult and noisy birth but birth it will, amid hardship, amid bliss. And I don’t care if it fits with the timing of celestial events. When it’s time, it’s time: Here I come!

Internet Outages: Intrigue as Both Google and Microsoft Go Offline

google_outage_tweet_400x204Stephen: Could these two mysterious ouages by major, major IT companies have anything to do with the global currency re-set or privacy concerns? Certainly seems odd that both would go ‘down” in the same week.

Outage 1: Google Down for Five Minutes. Internet Traffic falls by 40%

By Graeme Philipson, IT Wire, 19 August 2013

http://www.itwire.com/your-it-news/home-it/61175-outage-1-google-down-for-five-minutes

A five minute outage from Google on Friday briefly caused global Internet traffic to fall by 40%. Google has refused to comment.

The importance of Google to the smooth running of the Internet was demonstrated late Friday (Australian time), when Google’s search engine and all its apps stopped working. All Google apps on the Google Apps Status Dashboard displayed the same message:

“We’re aware of a problem with [app name] affecting a significant subset of users. The affected users are able to access [app name], but are seeing error messages and/or other unexpected behaviour. We will provide an update by 8/17/13 10:37 AM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem. Please note that this resolution time is an estimate and may change. The incident lasted 1-5 minutes.”

The messages are date stamped 8/17/13 9:37 AM, which is 4:37pm AEST on Friday. Another message 11 minutes later another message said “service was mostly restored one minute later, and entirely restored after 4 minutes.”

The incident has been widely reported around the world. Many news organisations have attempted to get a comment from Google on the reasons for the outage, but have been unsuccessful. Web analytics company GoSquare said the glitch caused a brief 40% drop in global Internet traffic:

“Google.com was down for a few minutes between 23:52 and 23:57 BST on 16 August 2013. This had a huge effect in the number of pageviews coming into GoSquared’s real-time tracking – around a 40% drop. That’s huge. As Internet users, our reliance on google.com being up is huge. It’s also of note that pageviews spiked shortly afterwards, as users managed to get to their destination.”

The outage has caused major ripples around the blogosphere as speculation rises as the cause. Google’s refusal to comment has only added fuel to the fire.

microsoft-outageOutage 2: Outlook.com Down for Three Days

By Graeme Philipson, IT Wire, 19 August 2013

http://www.itwire.com/your-it-news/home-it/61174-outage-2-outlookcom-down-for-three-days

Google resolved its outage problem in five minutes. After three days of trying, the online version of Microsoft’s Outlook is still struggling to work properly.

Microsoft says it has resolved a problem that took some users of its Outlook.com email service offline for up to three days. It was a major embarrassment for Microsoft, which is attempting to move its users to online versions of its popular desktop applications.

Outlook.com is also becoming more closely integrated with Microsoft’s other messaging programs, and is in the process of replacing its aging Hotmail system. It needs to be reliable,

Take this from Microsoft’s Office 365 website: “Office 365 provides peace of mind that the services are available and reliable with a guaranteed 99.9% uptime, financially backed SLA.” Let’s see – if a service is down for three days, with 99.9% uptime, that means Microsoft can guarantee another ten years with no outages.

But it’s all OK. We know what happened, we fixed it, and we’re sorry: From the MicrosoftOutlook.com status page:

We want to apologise to our customers who were affected by the outage on Outlook.com this week. We have restored access to all accounts and have made changes so that the service will be more resilient in the future.

This incident was a result of a failure in a caching service that interfaces with devices using Exchange ActiveSync, including most smart phones. The failure caused these devices to receive an error and continuously try to connect to our service. This resulted in a flood of traffic that our services did not handle properly, with the effect that some customers were unable to access their Outlook.com email and unable to share their SkyDrive files via email.

In order to stabilise the overall email service, we temporarily blocked access via Exchange ActiveSync. This allowed us to restore access to Outlook.com via the web and restore the sharing features of SkyDrive. These parts of the service were fully stabilised within a few hours of the initial incident. A significant backlog of Exchange ActiveSync requests accumulated as we worked to stabilise access. To avoid another flood of traffic, we needed to restore access to Exchange ActiveSync slowly, which meant that some customers remained impacted for a longer period of time.

So, full marks to Microsoft for disclosure – that’s in great contrast to Google’s refusal to comment on its own much shorter but much more significant outage. But a dunce’s cap to Microsoft for taking so long to fix it. At the time of writing, Microsoft is still having problems with the Calendar component of Outlook.com.

Microsoft’s long winded explanation would make the eyes of anybody who has ever tried to fix a Microsoft bloatware problem glaze over – good to see even Microsoft has problems with its own software.

UK ‘Authorities’ Detain Partner of Journalist Who Broke Edward Snowden Revelations

Glenn GreenwaldStephen: Glenn Greenwald is the Brazil-based journalist who gained the confidence of, and then exclusively presented to the world, Edward Snowden’s NSA Revelations via his ongoing articles in the UK-based The Guardian newspaper. He writes here how his partner has just been detained by UK authorities as he flew in and out of London under the UK Terrorisim Act. Seems people in power are still very worried about the further truths that will be shortly revealed…

Detaining My Partner: A Failed Attempt at Intimidation

By Glenn Greenwald, The Guardian – August 19, 2013

http://tinyurl.com/mkakcz2

The detention of my partner, David Miranda, by UK authorities will have the opposite effect of the one intended…

At 6:30 am this morning my time – 5:30 am on the East Coast of the US – I received a telephone call from someone who identified himself as a “security official at Heathrow airport.” He told me that my partner, David Miranda, had been “detained” at the London airport “under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act of 2000.”

David had spent the last week in Berlin, where he stayed with Laura Poitras, the US filmmaker who has worked with me extensively on the NSA stories. A Brazilian citizen, he was returning to our home in Rio de Janeiro this morning on British Airways, flying first to London and then on to Rio. When he arrived in London this morning, he was detained.

At the time the “security official” called me, David had been detained for 3 hours. The security official told me that they had the right to detain him for up to 9 hours in order to question him, at which point they could either arrest and charge him or ask a court to extend the question time. The official – who refused to give his name but would only identify himself by his number: 203654 – said David was not allowed to have a lawyer present, nor would they allow me to talk to him.

I immediately contacted the Guardian, which sent lawyers to the airport, as well various Brazilian officials I know. Within the hour, several senior Brazilian officials were engaged and expressing indignation over what was being done. The Guardian has the full story here.

Despite all that, five more hours went by and neither the Guardian’s lawyers nor Brazilian officials, including the Ambassador to the UK in London, were able to obtain any information about David. We spent most of that time contemplating the charges he would likely face once the 9-hour period elapsed.

According to a document published by the UK government about Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act, “fewer than 3 people in every 10,000 are examined as they pass through UK borders” (David was not entering the UK but only transiting through to Rio). Moreover, “most examinations, over 97%, last under an hour.” An appendix to that document states that only .06% of all people detained are kept for more than 6 hours.

The stated purpose of this law, as the name suggests, is to question people about terrorism. The detention power, claims the UK government, is used “to determine whether that person is or has been involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.”

But they obviously had zero suspicion that David was associated with a terrorist organization or involved in any terrorist plot. Instead, they spent their time interrogating him about the NSA reporting which Laura Poitras, the Guardian and I are doing, as well the content of the electronic products he was carrying. They completely abused their own terrorism law for reasons having nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism: a potent reminder of how often governments lie when they claim that they need powers to stop “the terrorists”, and how dangerous it is to vest unchecked power with political officials in its name.

Worse, they kept David detained right up until the last minute: for the full 9 hours, something they very rarely do. Only at the last minute did they finally release him. We spent all day – as every hour passed – worried that he would be arrested and charged under a terrorism statute. This was obviously designed to send a message of intimidation to those of us working journalistically on reporting on the NSA and its British counterpart, the GCHQ.

Before letting him go, they seized numerous possessions of his, including his laptop, his cellphone, various video game consoles, DVDs, USB sticks, and other materials. They did not say when they would return any of it, or if they would.

This is obviously a rather profound escalation of their attacks on the news-gathering process and journalism. It’s bad enough to prosecute and imprison sources. It’s worse still to imprison journalists who report the truth. But to start detaining the family members and loved ones of journalists is simply despotic. Even the Mafia had ethical rules against targeting the family members of people they felt threatened by. But the UK puppets and their owners in the US national security state obviously are unconstrained by even those minimal scruples.

If the UK and US governments believe that tactics like this are going to deter or intimidate us in any way from continuing to report aggressively on what these documents reveal, they are beyond deluded. If anything, it will have only the opposite effect: to embolden us even further. Beyond that, every time the US and UK governments show their true character to the world – when they prevent the Bolivian President’s plane from flying safely home, when they threaten journalists with prosecution, when they engage in behavior like what they did today – all they do is helpfully underscore why it’s so dangerous to allow them to exercise vast, unchecked spying power in the dark.

David was unable to call me because his phone and laptop are now with UK authorities. So I don’t yet know what they told him. But the Guardian’s lawyer was able to speak with him immediately upon his release, and told me that, while a bit distressed from the ordeal, he was in very good spirits and quite defiant, and he asked the lawyer to convey that defiance to me. I already share it, as I’m certain US and UK authorities will soon see.
