And.....YES, there will be animals in heaven. Just wait and see. God isn't bound by our understanding, & I personally believe that animals were such an important part of creation and hold such ongoing importance in this life. Since the next life will be perfect and everything will be made new, how can there be no animals there? God can and will do whatever He chooses and isn't bound by what man's ideas are about who He is. This raises so many discussion possibilities...so I better stop there and just say "that's what I believe."
By the way, have you ever heard that sometimes you save the best for last. Think about it. That's what Jesus did with the miracle of changing the water into wine at the wedding. Remember the comments of the guest who praised the host for saving the best for last. Perhaps that's what the Creator did regarding humans.
