A person's profile is their home in this community. Nearly everyone has a business they want to promote. I just feel it is in poor taste, at the least, to go to someone's profile, and plaster your business on the front of their "home."

I feel that having the link to your own profile on someone else's profile is great, and all that is necessary. If someone is drawn to your profile from your comment, then good for you. I think the Comments is a good place for helping us all get to know each other and being a real community.

I appreciate the openness of being able to promote our businesses here. I just feel it is taken advantage of in some ways.

I have deleted two comments. I am reluctant to do that as I like to see people commenting on profiles, so I do allow some advertising if they have made some attempt to speak to me in their comment.

I'll go visit your profile to get to know you. I see your picture around a lot. I find people interesting so I am sure you are quite interesting, too.
