It is such a joy to have such brilliant and funny friends, being cheered up, encouraged, loved, or whatever emotion is temporarily needing to be filled- I can go somewhere in the ALP community to find it-in abundance!
Phil and Roger the two of you are usually to be found in those places. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Thanks Cheryl
I'm actually here today to not think about the heat:)

Hey there Roger,

Thanks for the posting of "No Apology" regarding visiting and posting in forums here at Adland. Well done my friend and very well put. You make some great points in your post and I will attempt to get back to posting more frequently. For me, it's the time factor, but I miss my friends when I am not posting here.

Thanks for your comments...you may post here and share your thoughts anytime, and here's why: You have taken the time to get to know the people and the topics here, and you make it a point to post on topic typically. Your posts are open and sensitive to the different individuals topics of interest. Your thoughtfulness is consistently seen and you always have some thought provoking insights.

You had some things that you needed to say...and I always love that. You care about the people here and their chosen topics in their forums. There are differences in posting blatant ads without ever posting anything else in forums & the way you have brought what's on your mind to light.

Those that never have the thoughtfulness to post on the topics of forum owners are the ones that bother me (this is not what you have done). Some of these people continue to do it, even when asked not to. They not only spam the forums but also the personal email boxes of people that they have no desire to get to know & who never consider inviting the ones they are spamming into their friends circle.

I appreciate you Roger. Thank you for caring and sharing your thoughts and heart.

Hi Joyce,

I'm so glad to see you here and hopefully, you did get some sweet relief from the heat!!!! Yikes, I know what you mean. It's tough living in the south in the summer....but it's a reason to be really thankful for my cool AC! Ahhhh....it feels so good! :-)

Thank you for coming by and being cool!

Cheryl

P.S. Here are a couple of poetic quotes about poetry and poets. I love that!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When a poet's mind is perfectly equipped for its work, it is constantly amalgamating disparate experiences.
T. S. Eliot
A poet dares to be just so clear and no clearer; he approaches lucid ground warily, like a mariner who is determined not to scrape his bottom on anything solid. A poet's pleasure is to withhold a little of his meaning, to intensify by mystification. He unzips the veil from beauty, but does not remove it. A poet utterly clear is a trifle glaring.
E. B. White
