Hi Linda, Let me grab a thought. For Larry, you said; "Right now I need to work on establishing my presence on the Web to begin with." How does one do that? I believe AdLand is a pretty good starting point. Google my name, here I'll do it for you. http://www.google.ca/search?q=bob+needham That is from posting at AdLand ONLY. Another thought, I had heard at one point about establishing a "buddy system" for new Adlandians. When someone comes on board, they would be assigned a mentor to guide them. I think it's a great idea, not sure what happened to it. Bob

--> Do you think people are turned off by the number of people that blast out ads? Definitely! The sad part is everyone is not aware of that.. --> Do you think that having 800 active members (in the forums) is normal for 22,000 members? As far as ratio provided by most Internet Marketers..makes since --> Do you think that there's a lot of people that might not be into the 'click it rich' mentality but would love to know about this forum? Everytime I invite an Adland "newbie" to be my friend I tell them about your forum...it's the best place to learn the "real" lessons about Internet Marketing... --> Do you think that all the un-active people just posted a classified and don't come back? Highly probable. Forums are "eaten up" with drive bys. Especially if they aren't monitored well. More great 'food for thought'. Enjoy your forums. Angela

Thank you for the heads up on this Bob. I searched on your name and saw the proof. Then, I searched in Google for my name and found me on the first page that was returned. I like it. I am going to work on posting more and bulding up my AdlandPro tools. Thanks again Larry

Bob, ======= Another thought, I had heard at one point about establishing a "buddy system" for new Adlandians. When someone comes on board, they would be assigned a mentor to guide them. I think it's a great idea, not sure what happened to it. ======= That's a fabulous idea.

Hi Bob, Good thing finding your name like that, I know that when I do the same I find references to my name from posts I made to the original Adland Digest back to 1999 amongst a few others. The listings can last forever based upon the validity of the place you are found at. In regards to the Mentor program, I know that Bogdan is working on it and you are welcome to add your name to the list of potential mentors or guides. The scary thing is who might also add their names and the advice they might offerr the new member, if you know what I mean. ;)
