Hello Emanuel, You put a great question on the table. How come? Where goes? Why is this so special? Etc… I will not answer this for you but I like your saying “Me who lives in Portugal, the end of the world” Yes, the end of the world is just north of Portugal. A place called Finisterra, at the very end of the “Camino de Santiago”! We all have our questions, and the more the better because this is a means for us to get involved. This is the process for us to get our participation, our involvement into the business growing and created. Some will be slow, some will be right on right from the word go. We will be motivated and sometimes not but as a team, as a community of people with all the expertise from so many directions, it is only if we participate that we will find the answers to those questions and this is the mile stone to our active ownership of the deal. I've been off the net during your formation time. Ally told me to just say "I'm in" It's hard to trust a slick talker with a Dr. in front of his name, and shades :) but... prove me wrong! :) Ally said I could still get in and I should ask to be on team 7. As I read the guidelines, Dr. King will place me wherever he feels I am needed, or not at all if I continue to be a wise cracker! "WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF ANY BUSINESS?" I'll try to get in the spirit of things but without knowing how the business is organized, corporation, sole proprietor, partnership, etc. and where it is in the business lifecycle, concept, formation, 10, 20, 50, 100 years, etc. it is difficult for me to come up with one word that is "the most important". Sometimes I just take these things too seriously. :) Depending on the above it could be any of the commonly accepted success indicators such as, vision, persistence, communication, cash, timing, leadership, and on and on... All of the important components are variable in relation to being "the" most important, based on the current condition, organization, and lifecycle of the business. For example you might generally say a new business may find things like vision, and persistence "most" important where a mature business may find cash and leadership "most" important. Business principals don't change. Their hierarchy may and probably will over time. Soooooooo, for the sake of the exercise I will assume a sole proprietor, entrepreneur, who has just started his business or is just thinking about it. Drum Roll... Love Amos, loved chocolate chip cookies Boeing, loved airplanes Ford, loved cars Gates, loved computers And on and on it goes. If you love what you are doing, you won't have to find success, success will find you. Damn, I hate internet marketing! As I think about my post I am clearly a brick and mortar man totally lacking hype! Six years on the net and my income is comparable to "Welcome to Wal-Mart"!
