Re: Moving Right Along!

Hi Winston; ========================================== ...While I can understand how the sale of the product is important, if the mlm companies do that do they not defeat the entire purpose of thier MLM business in the first place? ... ..if I go to a website and see a companies business opportunity plastered all over their front page, then that is definitely one I want to stay away from. ========================================== Exactly. I don't want to have to choose a product by their website, but that's what I'm having to do. In the case of the one I mentioned - it's a fantastic product. It's got everything I'm looking for. High antioxidant value, liquid product (better absorption) etc., etc. But I can't SELL it because the *only* way to do so is to send people to their main page and subject them to the "join the downline" pitch. So what's the solution? Find a lesser product that isn't *quite* what I want, simply because they put the product up front? Those are the minority. The vast majority have the "join our downline, work from home, yada, yada, yada" all over the main page. What does that accomplish? They build downlines of people that don't know HOW to sell and turn off those that do. Thus - they don't "get it."

This is going no where fast. Why not just come right out and say, ie. Companies A, B, & C fit into such & such a group. I know there are products that solve issues that pertain to their field. Others just hook you into auto-ship if they have a product that has a degree of credibility and integrity. If the product has a corner in the marketplace because it solves problems other can't, you won't feel had because it delivers what was promised by the distributor or associate. When contacts see the benefits, they will see it's a no-brainer and why didn't they get into it sooner. My venture offers more than one way to participate because the products are designed for a variety of applications. When such users are responding to curious peers, ie. race track or Saturday morning driveway conversations, new downline and customers will happen. Honest and total information, in my opinion is the key. If information and facts remain hidden, how can "they get it"? Incidently, I am not subscribed to an autoship program.

Man, a guy goes away for a couple of days and all of a sudden there is a "dry humour king" crowned and feathered. Notice the spelling, we're Canadian... humour, colour, detour I have a grenade that needs to lobbed, nobody is touching on what I think is very prevalent. Why do "scammy" mlm's seem to target "christians"? Or maybe more correctly; why do a lot of "christians" seem to be marketing "scammy" mlm's? Note; I am not picking on anyone or any company, it's just an observation I've noticed outside of AdLand. I need to borrow someone's flak jacket. Bob

If you find a flak jacket, pass one over before I dare toss my two cents in. Heh... Linda
