Hi Linda,
This is a great set of threads you've set up here on your forum. I decided to experiment with autosurf programs back in the August time frame, did some research and started putting some seed money into several different programs in the September time frame.
I have no reply or arguments against the various negative things said by several folks on your thread here, because when one asserts that the Internet is a jungle, I would say the middle of the jungle is with these type programs, including autosurf, HYIP, etc.
I'm tracking my programs on my personal web site and color coding my experiences with them (Green -- Amber -- Red). So far, 12dailypro is heads and shoulders above the entire autosurf industry. I actually lost a little money on a new program that shut down (Trumpsurf), and I have had three programs that have been slow or no pay. I have several programs that the jury is out on because their terms are longer, and I won't really be able to evaluate them until my first payout comes due.
However, on the two or three programs that I am into that have been consistently paying, I have made a nice profit in the last 60 days (In the hundreds of dollars). I started out with about $2,000 seeded into about a dozen programs. I had a run-in with one admin and had to pull the plug -- so I got back about $1,000 of my original investment by getting a refund through the payment processor -- overall this single incident turned into a very negative experience. It's exactly this kind of thing that teaches you best though. Of the remaining seed dollars, I have just about broke even and run into the profit zone nows by a few hundred dollars.
I will say this about autosurf -- it is more or less like the stock market at the penney stock level -- one must do due diligence on research, for sure. One must take a critical view toward admins, and never throw good money after bad, with a slow paying autosurf, no matter how long it's been there or how good the admin's reputation is. AN AUTOSURF IS ONLY AS GOOD AS ITS LAST PAYOUT. For this reason I now seed with less money than before, to make sure I understand the program and the admin before committing higher dollar amounts -- ant even then I now only allow myself to run moderate amounts in one program. I read an old saying on a web site that seems to apply: "pigs get fat, but hogs get slaughtered. I think autosurf requires diversification, pulling our original principle as quickly as possible, and that way, if something goes wrong., your own money isn't at risk.
Right now, my favorite programs include 12dailyrpo and autosurf.biz/eprofit.biz -- these programs have been paying consistently, and the admins are honest and communicate well. Having said this, I agree with what has been said that nothing lasts forever, so you ever have to bear that in mind and actively read the forums and admin emails, always looking for the clues.
One interesting point was brought up about do you want to earn money that way? I think the jury is out on this. I'm running my experiment, selecting programs that supposedly have external income streams, and not just Ponzi dynamics at work -- but I think it will take several months for me to settle my own thoughts about everything I experience in the autosurf jungle. One thing in particular concerns me, and that is a lot of sites that claims to have external income streams are using the FOREX trading approach, and other HYIP type investments as their source of income. The FOREX concerns me in particular, because if an autosurf is doing that, I wonder how it compares to a mutual fund, viz-a-viz the SEC type regulation -- I dropped MyCashTrader for that reason -- their whole thing is autosurf and the admin does gold trading. As I recall these precious metals are treated as commodities by the SEC, so I'm going to researching this as time permits to see what the implications are.
For what it's worth,
Greer Trumble
