Heather -- negativity is never a good thing, and i'm not one to leave things on a sour note for very long. the older i get, the less i care if things really go my preconceived way. Knowing how to deal with failure, change, and surprise is an important skill on the road to success. Bad feelings hurt everyone in any group, no matter hwo transient the group may be. it is never wise, when something doesn't pan out like you expected, to dwell on it beyond due bounds or encourage a deepening of the associated melodrama. "Humor is the best medicine" applies.
Does my jovial behavior reflect a fundamental change to my business decisions? Not really -- when melodrama happens, or when you make a decision that affects others like i have, it is simply a good idea to reaffirm other's value to yourself so that they know there is no bad feeling or lasting grudge. This kind of thing can take root and seriously affect others and yourself, mentally and physically -- not a good idea to contribute to that kind of situation -- no Zen can come out of that that i know of.
Had I taken the time to look at the web sites of those i started dialoging with, I likely would have foreseen the natural conclusion of the conversation and not posted in the first place. My oversight, I paid a heavy price. Does that imply that my reversal of position on paid autosurfs is insincere? Not at all -- this thread just accelerated the conclusion of a limited duration experiment i had going to support my daughter in Europe this year. It just means I gotta fund my Scottrade acount and get on top of the recent change at the Fed Res Board -- there's a honymoon effect going on, and the first quarterly discount rate adjustment by the fed will signal the new direction and rate of interest rate change -- also, i heard the other nite on tv that the conservatives are considering pulling the rug out of mortgage deductions -- that would translate to a BIG shift of all kinds of capital away from housing to other sectors. they';re also chaging credit card payback nminmum percentages, which may have a fairly substantial affect as well. My daughter has been experienceing better exchange rates over in Europe on the USD/Euro than i had expected so i have to backtrack and see what drove that -- i've been out of active trading now for almost a year, so not only do i have to get resettled with all that investment stuff, i have my day job and college stuff to do -- Oh btw, i had started a team to do a collaborative project -- we are now moved off of adlandpro -- so i gotta figure out how we're gonna continue to wicker that as well.
-- can you see where I'm going with this? There's only one of me!!! All that being said, i like being busy.
take care
