HI William & Shelly, Thanks so much William for getting Shelly to share her poem with all of us! I know of her story and have been moved by all her trials and tribulations that she is going through. Shelly, writing is one of the best to get rid of stres and tension, if you have no one to talk you. I think you did a wonderful job with it! Shelly, I know how hard it can be with families, I have been through this myself. I know it is hard for you to want to cut everyone off, but I did it and I am much better for it! I only communicate with my Mom...all my sisters are not worth my time and efforts any longer.It has been like this for about 15 years now. It is hard at first, but you have your husband, kids and grandchild...they are all the family you need! Plus, you have many people here that care about you very much! It is unfortunate that we can not pick who are parents are, or siblings either, but we can find family in other people. Many times it is much better that way! Don't make yourself sick over all of it...they will only bring you down right along with them. Don't let them do that to you! You CAN be happy and have a great life. Just be strong, have faith, pray to God everyday...as long as you have God on your side that is all that matters! Through Him all things are possible! Take care Shelly and William. Hi,William! Thanks for the invite! Shelly has been a close Friend of mine ever since I first came aboard AdlandPro Community. She has been a very special Friend who has reached her heart out to Mike and I when we needed words of consolation and inspiration. Poetry is the Art of expressing one's self in a way that many can understand. Much of Shelly's Poem did just that. It's a great Poem and she is very talented and beautiful inside and out!
