Re: Monday Review: Advice for Johnny?

Johnny, It's actually a very good idea, but there must be a way that makes that idea clearer on your site. For people who do not know you, it seems a little confusing as to what the intent is. Take whatever advice Linda and Peter give you, they're the best.....I'm the fan club president, well vice president at the very least.

Hi Heather ,Linda, Petter and everyone that gave their honest rewiew of my site. Well my heart is in the right place. LOL I must admit this was and eye opening experience for and a great way to get some real feed back on how people honestly see a site. I want to thank each of you for your input good or bad it way honest and truly help me make some dicissions about YMIM.org. I will re-tool the site for just business and then my profit I will be sending what I need to care for the orphans. I work with a pastor in India that has the pager work he needs there for the orphanage there. The site hard to goals before to help people start a home business, provide some tools and training for them. That part was to give you as a paying member 1/2 of all other paying members monthly fee. So that was part one. Part to was the other 1/2 of all members came to me and inturn 1/2 of it was sent to the orphans. But it is apparent that the concept got lost in the mix somewhere. I am not 501-c and it is not a good law just so every one understands. It is a law that is to give a tax break to non profit Org.'s mainly Churches. To get this "wounderful tax break" all you have to do is put in your by laws that you will not tell any one who they should vote for or speak out against the goverment. If you do, they the goverment then can come and put you in jail and take any and all property the Org. and you own. So it is best to pay your taxes. This is so everyone complies with what they call seperation of church and state in the US. The "seperation of church and state" in not in the Bill of rights or the constutation of the USA. Hower the words "seperation of church and state" can be found the artical 52 a of the constutation of the Soviet Union. The tax laws in the USA does however allows me or anyone to give a montary gift to someone and not even pay taxes on it. The rules say I can not give over 10,000 USD a year to one person or they have to pay taxes on it as income. If I have paied income taxes on it before it was given then no other taxes are due. But saddy most people are decieved by 501c and these this as making a business the real thing. Not following the heart that God put in their chest and the brain he put in their heard. I am sorry, if any one that reviewed the site for a minute thought I was asking for donations for any thing. I was not. Even in ministry I never request a pastor to take up an offering from a church where we was meeting. If this was done it was done by the pastor and the people at they own leading. Again thanks to each of you, and you really did help me out here. God Bless Johny

Johny, Maybe it's best to put as a foot note that you are donating a portion of the money to charity. That way there is no confusion that it's a business site, but a business site with a heart that is donating a portion of it's proceeds. Best of luck to you........with such a noble desire, you deserve it.

For Johnny

Hi Johnny; I'm glad you came back to read the other replies, because we all DO know you have your heart in the right place. But saddy most people are decieved by 501c and these this as making a business the real thing. Not following the heart that God put in their chest and the brain he put in their head. You are very right. Many people don't stop to use their heads or their hearts because we have laws in place to *tell* us how to think. When I saw what you were doing, I could see that your heart is in the right place. Knowing people from 25 years of marketing, I also knew how others would think.... and i wanted you to see that, too. I think by approaching it as a business that gives to charity, as you're doing, you'll have a better chance of achieving what you're trying to do. We ALL wish you the best at it. : ) Linda
