Re: Monday Review: Advice for Johnny?

Linda, I believe Johnny still has a lot to learn. The site won't even convince anybody to be part of the scheme. it doesn't look professional at all. Maybe all the other suggested sites will really helped him to get started. Thanks Linda. Bola

Hi Craftie: ========== Thanks for this link at the moment I have no spare cash ========== This isn't about asking for cash. Johnny asked for a Monday review. Every Monday I review an online business to see if I can help them succeed. That's what this is. It would be very nice if you'd come back, read the post, and offer your thoughts... and rest assured no one is asking for any money. We're asking for opinions. Those are still free. *wink* : ) Linda

Sorry Linda about the double post. you can delete one I think, well it may take both, it is up too you. Don't worry, some people do not read the Forum and the info. when they post. Some are here to just get points, you know. Money is not what Forum is about. I know this is blunt. Your Friend,

You know I've just read through everything here and while I agree in the main there are a couple of things that are really interesting. I'm sure thatJohnny's heart is in the right place and that his promotion of this opportunity is well intentioned. The first thing that struck me when I saw Johnny's site was "starving kids - how can I help" So on some very base level Johnny's site works in pulling the emotional heart strings. However, I find the whole idea of making mony out of poverty bizarre, but then again it must have some attraction because their seems to be a number of these types of opportunities presenting themselves. Sorting out the moral ethics from the attention grabbing appeal of the site - the design works on a base level in as much as I at least read the content which puts it above a lot of sites I see and instantly dismiss. I think I'm going round in circles.

Wow! I looked at Johnny's site and within seconds of scrolling I got a bad taste in my mouth. I will pass on an opinion but I must say Linda you gave a very good response. I remember in one of the previous review that a connection was made between providing a free eBook in hope to influence sales of a product. The product was good but having a connection to some less fortunate human being wasn't attractive to me. I don't even like it when a profitable corporation (ex McDonald's) says they will donate $1.00 to a needy cause from every burger sold. Should I buy an extra burger? Not! I don't mean to be disrespectful but some level of screening or judgement call could perhaps be made before we seek some feedback from the forum. My apologies if this posting is not in the appropriate forum.
