Hi again, all. Kris, your statement is so true. "The people you know can teach you what you need to know. People you know can loan or give you the tools and resources needed." I belong to a small group of people who are serving as a mastermind group for each other. Today, one of them thought to bring a couple of her books to loan. One of them was "Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting"! I've been wanting to read it again, so it appeared. Cheri

Men often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn't have it in the beginning. -Mohandas Gandhi Enjoy abundance in your life today Everyone have a wonderful day Peace, Love, Liberty Kris

Hi Cheryl and everyone.... I have not taken the time as I should have to read and study all that has been shared, but I want to through out something in hopes that it will inspire additional insights on success. I will start with the old adage that success is not a destination, but the journey, and having said that, I share with the youth groups I'm involved with that everyone is successfully, no matter where they may be in life. I, as we all do, have friends who are successful in making money and those who are successfully going broke, those who are successful at establishing peace and those who successfully create discourse. Being successful is a given as long as one is alive so when I share with youth that they are successful not matter what they do, it lifts the burden that success as a goal places on one as an expectation. The second thing I share with the youth group is that the only absolute in life is that our understanding of today and its opportunities, its challenges and treasures is fashioned by our knowledge and experience, and since these two factors are always changing, our understanding, belief and degree of trust we place is always changing and therefore, what one embraces today will change tomorrow, and that leads to the core thought to embrace change as the map to the treasures life offers each day. I hope I did not derail the thought, but the conversation caught my attention and wanted to be a part of the discussion. Have an awesome and creative day!

Kris, (and all) I had a conversation with a local colleague tonight, who told me that he didn't believe he had ever met anyone else who set about to consciously 're-wire' their thinking. He should come to meet some of the people I'm meeting as a result of that conscious effort. Every day, many times a day, I have begun to recognize evidence that "There are more things in heaven and earth, ...Than are dreamt of in [my] philosophy" (with a nod to Shakespeare.) Those things even begin to persuade me to your point of view! In my search for financial prosperity, I have been ignoring two things: 1) I have that in contrast to the vast majority of human experience. Only in relation to some imagined ideal do I not have it, and my passionate dissatisfaction with that condition may in fact be what has created it and maintained it. Almost certainly is. 2) I have been discounting my growing real estate business as the fulfillment of my desire. Without considering the fact that as I set my intentions on prosperity, I laid no conditions on it, I have actually tried to turn it away because it came in the "wrong" form! I'm surprised the Universe has begun to comply with the request when I have been ungrateful for how it is being fulfilled. No more! You and a few others have opened my eyes. Kris, I owe you an apology. It seems that it is easier and more fruitful to graciously and gratefully accept what comes than to struggle to make it look the way you think it ought to. Thanks for the lesson, my friend. Cheri
