Clay, Hi, and welcome! I'm honored that you dropped by, and your thoughts are welcome. We have a nice core group here who are more of like mind than not, but everyone has something to add. It's odd that I set out to create a discussion and ended up with a tool to clarify my own thinking. You are so right about the journey! Thanks also for your kind remarks in the next post. I am rather proud of what this has become, and I owe it all to you! Your guidance set me on this path. Thank you so very much! As a result of another advisory panel member's input, my website will probably evolve very similarly. One step at a time... Cheri PS My given name is Cheryl...I answer to either one. :-)

Hi! Cheri, thank you for inviting me here. I have read the entire thread and what a fascinating thread! Thomass, you said... ============================ We understand that everything is energy (which has been proven in many different ways) therefore thought is also energy. Unseen of course on the human level but you can see their results; or better stated in most cases; feel their result. Now energy travels freely and easily everywhere and anywhere. Such as thought. Once thought ; its out there in the invisable energy matrix. ============================ What a wonderful post. I have never heard the term invisible energy matrix, but have always referred to the same thing as the thought particles that connect us. It is difficult to help people connect success and spirituality, in my opinion, because we all have different definitions of what spirituality is, and what success is. But, there is one thing I believe firmly. I have an analogy that I use. If I put a sponge in a saucer of water, it will soak up the water. If I squeeze out the sponge and put in an a bowl of broth, it will soak up the broth. That's what a sponge does. Our mind is the sponge. The energy within everything we are expose to is the liquid. If I spend time with people that argue constantly, I will find their attitude pervading my mind. The antidote is to spend more time with people that are not argumentative. If I read books that tell me success is measured in dollars, I will absorb that. If I read sleasy sales pitches, I will start to talk like that. I have believed in the energies that we absorb for many years and raised my daughter with those principles. It was with great delight that I read scientific articles about the Reticular Activation System (RAS) at the base of the human brain that functions as the gateway that chooses which information from the subconscious mind will affect our actions. It was with greater delight that I read that one of the identifiers of which actions we will follow is repetition of absorption. When a situation is filled with negative energy, I don't revel in it. I walk away. I do not wish to be filled with negative energy. When people come to me discouraged, and I encourage them, I can feel their energy change. None of these are principles that we can see. But then, neither is cold, or warmth, or happiness or sorrow and yet we have no trouble believing in them. What a fascinating thread. Thank you again Cheri. : ) Linda

Welcome, Linda! I'm honored that you elected to visit, also. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said: "It is difficult to help people connect success and spirituality, in my opinion, because we all have different definitions of what spirituality is, and what success is." I'm sure you saw that we were struggling with that very issue early in the thread. Ultimately, each person who reads here will take away what their experience and beliefs represent to them as truth, whether or not that agrees with anything any of us expresses. Perhaps we should each ask with St. Francis of Assissi, "grant that I may not so much seek...to be understood as to understand." Rather than helping people connect success and spirituality, maybe we're here to just help people connect. Thanks for your additions to the conversation, they are most welcome! Cheri

Hi Cheri, Although humans like to perceive themselves as a being of thought and logic we are primarily creatures of emotion. When we get emotional about something things happen ! Cheri you don't owe me a thing my dear. Just keep the respect and tolerance coming a closer friendship is assured. Open debate is the best way to learn more about each other especially among new friends. Getting emotional is part of a good dialog and for most of us part of the learning process. Enjoy abundance in your life today Everyone have a wonderful day Peace, Love, Liberty Kris
