Thanks Barb, & I'm so sorry about your mom. You're right, she must be so scared. Bless her and I pray she'll be able to just get better. I'm glad she has you and your sister.
Yes, I do love animals as you do. They are all a lot more intelligent than some people think they could be.
I've had a pet rabbit, a cockatiel, numerous dogs, cats, & even a pet skunk when I was a child (my dad got him and of course he had been de-skunked if you know what I mean :-) All were intelligent and loving little creatures. The rabbit I had was so sweet ,& house broken also. Most of the time that is. He would do things to get my attention if I was busy and hadn't paid him enough mind. I just loved him so much and it was very sad when he went to bunny heaven. Now, I have two mini- poodles and they both have a very sweet disposition.
