Personally I think that what he has posted is more to the point than most people want to hear. Anthony the only people really talking sense after Katrina are the ones who are asking " What can we do to help? " or " What if anything can be done to prevent this tragedy from reoccuring?" or " Can anything be done that will prevent a reoccurrance? " Setting back and criticizing, making wild accusations of racism etc. DOES NOTHING! IT IN FACT ADDS TO THE MISERY! The backbone efforts of those who REALLY care is out there DOING something besides talking! If I am hurting feelings, I am sorry but this needs to be said. Instead of spending time criticising, do what the REAL men and women of America are doing, ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES AND HELP!

That forum sums up what I have been feeling post-Katrina. Manditory evacuations are the norm in the face of dangerous, predictable storms like Katrina. Local, state, and federal government allowing death tolls like this is a disgrace.
