Staying on topic, I will write down the recipe for the cookies and TRY to make them, I'm not a wizard with sticking to recipes either, more like a mad scientist.  My superpower of breaking all conversations into smithereens is something my mother was/is expert at, she also was not very familiar with recipes, thus her legacy of very skinny children while she became fat, the only one who could tolerate her attempts at cooking was herself!  I cook not much, therefore I fat not much.

Blessed are the bad cooks, for they shall inherit all microwavable foods.

Blessed are the yackmeisters, for they shall inherit all ditched conversations.

Dear Sister Kathleen

I have no choice but to be a house husband due to my disability. Workers Comp pays me to stay home as I am classified as unemployable. This gives me the opportunity to cook some awesome dishes and experiment with ingredients. By the way, meatloaf is my favorite to make !

Hey There Brother Luka

As long as nobody says anything negative about my wife your free to speak your mind in my forums no-matter what the subject. I do know that Kathleen has one heck of a sense of humor. Since I started eating the cookies I have lost 3 pounds and that is not changing any of my normal eating habits !

Hi Nick,

Friday is my grocery-shopping day, I was cutting out coupons today and making my list (in the order of the aisles, like a compulsive perfectionist!) and I actually have coupons for olive oil, real rolled oats, cinnamon and vanilla!  That IS amazing!  My only "problem" would be having a roll of cookie dough in the fridge and trying not to taste it.  My husband can't have a crockpot either because I told him it would be empty by the time he got home, from my tasting it every few minutes.

P.S. Your cooking directions, maybe tell people not to preheat the oven UNTIL past the 12 hour fridge time, LOL.  Is 12 hours a normal preheating time????

My Dear Sister Sara

You are one of my special friends who can take up as much space as you want - LOL - Turmeric is in curry but for a better explanation I googled the information for you !

Curry is the English description of any of a general variety of spiced dishes, best known in Asian cuisines, especially South Asian cuisine. Curry is a generic term, and although there is no one specific attribute that marks a dish as "curry", some distinctive spices used in many, though certainly not all, curry dishes include turmeric, cumin, coriander, fenugreek, and red pepper. The word curry is generally believed to be an anglicized version of the Tamil word kari. It is usually understood to mean "gravy" or "sauce", rather than "spices"
