Hey Bro Jay

If you want to talk about quirks then I guess you never seen my tin foil ball. if I can't find some foil to work on for a night then I get in a cold sweat. Wait a minute, isn't that an obsession

Great posts everybody! I have another one. Whenever I leave a room and turn off the light, I ALWAYS look behind me to see if the light is really off. I know I flipped that switch, but for some reason my mind is asking me "Are you sure you turned it off?". ARGH!!! Why isn't there a switch for a nagging sub-conscience?!

Oh boy! Do I have a story about forgetfulness! My Dad's family is from South Dakota, so every summer he would DRIVE us there from Philadelphia to SDak for a 2 week visit with numerous relatives, that was a 2-day drive with 6 kids in the car, AND a 2-day drive back. But he was a bear so we all tried not to be too annoying! Really? We TRIED but never really succeeded. BUT my Mom has always been a big goofball and a worry-wart...one time we had only driven about a half-mile from the house, and we'd leave early for this yearly trip, about 6 a.m. and my Dad was a stickler about time, minute by minute....SO anyway, Mom said she thought she forgot to unplug the iron (who would do ironing before 6 am anyway?) So Dad turned the car around back to the house and brought the iron out and put it under the front seat of the car. Then every year on the trip to SD, Mom had to BRING THE IRON. No more worries about plugged in irons! If she never did ironing, that wouldnt be a problem either. I remember Dad wanted his handkerchiefs ironed also. Mom did the ironing in the livingroom in front of the TV, you'd think having a TV in the kitchen would have been a solution but they thought that would be too much TV-addiction, but somehow she did as much as possible while watching TV in the livingroom, including peeling potatoes.

Dad's solution to losing 5 minutes from his trip was to floor the gas for quite awhile, of course, he wouldnt wanna lose 5 MINUTES off a 2 day trip!!
