I have a new fear; colonoscopy talk! Way to turn the tide from dentists and metal hooks in your mouth into...well I don't think I need to repeat it. My mom ladies and gentlemen, lets give her a round applause o_O

Have never heard for the fear substitution (the way you "promote" it) ... But if it works ... it would be for the masochists :) . To substitute less with the bigger fear :) ... So, this therapy would require sadist as a therapist ...

Dear boy, I MUST ADMIT THAT I ALWAYS SENSED THAT WE JUST HAVE TO TURN ALL THINGS INTO OPPOSITE DIRECTION. It is interesting that you "match" to this my silliness :) .
