Roger, I have been reading your poetry for the past hour and I wanted to let you know that I have really been enjoying it. So many times I want to be doing creative stuff...but then, I always seem to be doing working stuff. It seems that they should be one and the same, but I still haven't figured out how to do that.

For now, I will bask in the pleasure of dipping in the pool of your creative thoughts. Thank you for sharing yourself through your poems. They are just great. I love the diverse topics too.

How dare we?

How dare we pick and choose

Just who we’ll help and who we will use?

We’re led to believe that it’s moraly right

To get involved in another’s freedom fight

But, from past words the truth emerges

When an aging politician, his conscience he purges

How dare we think that we always know best

That real civilization is planted firmly in the west
