Hi Myrna,

Yes, I learned that snow comes in all types and
not always wet like I had experienced growing up.
It was never very much fun going outside to play in
because you came back inside soaking wet and
freezing cold.
Here in Nebraska, I can sweep it off the porch and
steps, which the first time I swept the snow off was
in Wyoming as I did not have a shovel and I kinda
felt quite weird doing this until a neighbour said to
me - that nearly everyone sweeps the snow off! *lol*

Our snow is melting again and there is some ice
under the snow from the last time it was melting and
we got a snow fall.  I have to watch where I walk so
as not to slip.

Hi Tom,

In the last two years James lived in Redding, was the
worst time for him because he had been the Manager
of Egghead software store in the Mall and it closed
down vertually overnight without them telling him.
He heard from his customers first!!
About a month - 6 weeks prior they had asked him
if he would like to transfer to Springfield, Oregon and
start a new store in Gateway Mall and so he went up
there to look the Mall over and came back to say YES
he would pack up and go.  Then they closed shop
anyway to go on the internet.
He was jobless from Jan and when I met him (he did pick up a couple of temp jobs) so he was desperate to get out of Redding as shops were closing in the Mall - it was like a ghost town when he took me through there. No one was taking on new employees as he went around to everyone.

I found the Shasta river to be extremely freezing cold
on a very hot day.  It was a real shock to me that this
river could be so cold and not warm up with the high
temps in Redding.  You could not go swimming in
there.  The lake was nice.

HAVE I GOT A DEAL FOR YOU!!!

If you send us a 6 inches of snow, we'll see that you get some sunshine!!!!  :)

I wish we had snow here.  We use to have a good foot of snow every winter.  We have the low temperatures... last night was down to 22°F... it was great!!!  We just don't have any moisture.  Hey, maybe I should run my sprinkler tonight!!!!  LOL!!!!

Keep talking about your snow, cuz it brings back some nice memories of my siblings and I sledding on a very nice hill in Colorado when we were young!  Ah... that was so much fun!!!

Hi Joe,

What, share my snow!!!
Well, I guess for you, I would if I could
.
Honestly I am not looking forward to summer.  It
gets far too hot here.  I enjoy Spring and Fall as the temps are good.

Yes my children love working in Vail, Colorado, Kerie
my daughter has been coming out each winter for 8
years now then goes home to another winter!
Daryl my son is here for the first time and loves
it, so I am guessing he will be back again next year.
