Tom,
I think the Shasta Lake was not so cold, I cannot
recall whether we swam in there or not. We did go
swimming somewhere in Redding, just not sure where.
It was the river that was absolutely ice cold, so if
anyone washed in there, it would definitely be a
'lick and a promise'!!
