Well Georgios,

All I can say is have another bottle on me.  ((youtube id="DT1iOYj4OOE"))((/youtube))

You have stepped onto to center stage to rant once again.  Making accusations and climbing the high horse.  What I see, is someone that has been taken over by the Green Eyed monster maybe.  ((youtube id="UlbINHEacXk"))((/youtube))

Thank you Adland for allowing me to be part of the POTW Awards Team.  It was my pleasure to bring you the many POTW related forums and thanks to those that helped us find and fill nominations week after week.

Without your help and support there would have been no POTWs some weeks.  Peter and AnaMaria are great folks to have as friends and to be partners with and it has been a honor to work with them week after week.

Georgios we had no clue you held us in such high esteem and regard.  Thank you for your accolades and your many recent critiques.  Had I been aware of any of your concerns, I would have been happy to address them.  Your silence has been golden.  Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jim Allen III

May Wisdom and the knowledge you gained go with you,

Jim Allen III

Hi Georgios and All !

When saw the pop-up with Lydia`s post, I thought this is a competition in bad English .

I just came to be verified by all that I AM ABSOLUTELY WORLD CHAMPION :) .

It really is interesting : people who are slurring, so seldom stop speaking :) ... And the same is with me. In this second Adlander membership I already made near 1500 posts!!!
LOL!

It`s great that OPERA has so strict standards, and they are more strictly than Adland :) ... Just tried to imagine if anyone ever permitted me to show there my love for opera :( ...

Love and hugs,

Branka

Hello Georgios,

I truly know not what to make of this.
But then of course democracy is supposed to prevail, Hmm! Hmm!

And here against a Greek hard to argue! J

Nothing in nature is democratic! It simply is not how it was organized, everything is hierarchy, like it or not. Hierarchy is for humans the top guys helping the lesser in their toils. If there are errors they are simply due to ambitions, and ambitions are a good attitude when not overdosed, only humans have ambitions and therefore they are prone to errors, mistakes, blurps call them as you wish. To try and articulate the absolute fairness, flawless, cheat proof system is a hopeless ambition to humans simply because it is in any form, other than a naturally set hierarchy, a myth. Society in business does not run that way, nor do families (children are not in command due to their numbers!) Obviously the boss listens to his subordinates before taking a decision, and so does the farther in the family orbit.

With regards to the POTW, POTY, BFM, we are free to participate and to play along with, sure. But it is a long run from expecting their efforts to be exempt from human errors, immune from human ambitions; would that not forsake their fun?

There is no price in these games, and therefore no gain except fun and a little pride as well as a boosting help towards their efforts, and that is as such not a criticism except if it outride’s normal social norms. It is all a matter of who we going to celebrate as the winner after a lot of work from those who did a grand job of trying their best to organize the game.

My two cents and with no other than friendly intentions.

Robert.

Hey my dear American brother Jim!
Now I not understand you exactly.
You know, English is not my native language,  and You and Peter always helped me with specification of sense of idiomatic expressions which are various in various languages.

Taking an opportunity to improve my knowledge of the American English, decipher to me please expressions climbing the high horse and Green Eyed monster

Nice song about Green Eyed monster , whether you write me words of this song?

Your Russian sister Lydia

Dear Georgios,
I think those who do not understand you are reading with "head" and not "heart".
There is a difference and strict translation of the language leaves much out of what is being said.
I love Branka's idea to turn our little "soap operas" into opera singing-what a hoot that would be!
Love conquers all and misunderstandings can be the foundation for solid friendship in the long run-as long as nobody leaves:)
