Peter I think it is wonderful we have people of Allen West's caliber who is willing and brave enough to take a stand for what is right. My prayers are with him that God will watch over him and protect him as he goes about spreading the truth and yes he would make a wonderful vice president or even a president. Certainly a man of character and integrity.

Allen West Hosts “Islamophobic” Anti-Ground Zero Mosque Event

Posted by Ryan Mauro Bio ↓ on Sep 2nd, 2011

Rep. Allen West isn’t being deterred by accusations of “Islamophobia,” and will be hosting a screening of the Christian Action Network’s film, “Sacrificed Survivors: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mosque” in Congress on September 7. The event kicks off a screening tour in New York City public parks around the tenth anniversary of 9/11 that is sure to rile up the deniers of the Islamist threat.

The event is being held on the morning of September 7 from 11:30 am to 1:00 PM in Room B-339 of the Rayburn Congressional Office Building, thanks to Rep. Allen West. It is generating significant media coverage and controversy, as is the Christian Action Network’s tour in New York City against the Ground Zero Mosque that begins later that night. West and some of the other participants have been labeled as “Islamophobes” in the Center for American Progress’s “Fear Inc.” report, which specifically mentions this event as evidence of the alleged growing anti-Muslim bigotry in the country.

Rep. West is listed in the report as part of the “Islamophobia echo chamber.” He is called a “loyal foot soldier in the misguided campaign against Sharia.” A Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations recently wrote him a letter asking him to end his relationships with Islamophobic activists. He wrote a one-sentence response: “I am writing to you with regard [to] your recent letter: ‘NUTS!’”

It was an appropriate response given CAIR’s extremist affiliations. Tellingly, one of the authors of the letter is Hassan Shibly, who I interviewed extensively after learning that he was a frequent guest speaker at schools in New York. He defends Hezbollah, supports 9/11 conspiracy theories, and made other very concerning statements.

West is being criticized for his hosting of the film screening in Congress. On FOX News Channel’s The Five, liberal pundit Bob Beckel called West “a politician who knows a good story and how to get in front of the cameras.” He then shockingly said, “We all understand 9/11, but you got to get over this in New York, the rest of us are being affected by it.” He is also being criticized by Americans Against Islamophobia and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Martin Mawyer, President of the Christian Action Network, will be speaking at the event. His organization previously released “Homegrown Jihad: Terrorist Camps Around the U.S.,” described in “Fear Inc.” as “inflammatory.” Of course, not a single bit of the compelling evidence in the film and covered here at FrontPage Magazine is addressed.

There are several other speakers that will anger the Islamism-deniers. The group includes Tim Brown of 911FamiliesForAmerica.com, and first responder on 9/11 and Michael Del Rosso, Senior Fellow at the Center for Security Policy. Tom Trento of the United West and former CIA operations officer Clare Lopez are also on the panel. Both are mentioned in “Fear Inc.”

The Christian Action Network begins its screening tour of the film in New York City on the same night. The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation originally hesitated in granting permits and accommodating the tour, but that changed after the American Center for Law and Justice filed a “demand letter” on CAN’s behalf. Four screenings have now been scheduled in Manhattan on the nights of September 7, 9, 10 and 13.

This is the second screening tour by the Christian Action Network of “Sacrificed Survivors.” The first was nationwide and had stops right near speaking engagements by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, one of the pioneers of the Ground Zero Mosque effort.

“We rallied Ground Zero Mosque opponents during his speaking events in Michigan and then again in North Carolina. We wanted to make sure he knew that we would not tire. And now, we are touring in his backyard, right in New York City,” said Martin Mawyer, President of CAN.

The film’s purpose is to give 9/11 survivors and the victims’ family members to express their opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque. It also reviews questions regarding the extremist affiliations of the group behind it and their financing. The chief financial backer of the Ground Zero Mosque, Hisham Elzanaty, has just been hit with a lawsuit for over $5 million from Allstate Insurance for allegedly running a “highly developed and sophisticated kickback scheme.” He is also being sued for millions of dollars by Geico and State Farm. In 1999, he donated $6,000 to the Holy Land Foundation, a front set up by the Muslim Brotherhood to finance Hamas.

The “Islamophobes” who have put together the September 7 event with Rep. Allen West are trying to make a point on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 that goes beyond the Ground Zero Mosque controversy. The anti-Islamist activists being attacked as paranoid bigots are dedicated to protecting the country from its patient enemies, violent and non-violent. They know the price of this commitment is to have their integrity questioned. And this 9/11 anniversary, they want to show it is worth the price.

Hello friends, here is a video a friend sent me today and this guy really hits the nail on the head.

Bedbugs and Islam
This is GREAT, a MUST watch. Please, it doesn't take long. Lots of "food for thought".
If you haven't seen this Brit before, you've missed an extraordinarily erudite speaker. He is serious when he is funny and he is funny when he is serious. And, oh boy, is he on point! This is his latest, and I think the first of 2011.
And he doesn't pull any punches, either!

Hi Evelyn,

Thanks for posting the excellent Pat Condel video. He sure does hit the nail on the head in all his videos. We've been writing about the human rights violations all these Muslim countries are guilty of and the worst part is they head up and control the human rights committees in the UN. As he said it's like a Mafiosi sitting on the parole board.

Shalom,

Peter

RE: HSIG - Poll Shows That The "Social Justice" Protest Movement Is A Bust
9/6/2011 7:45:07 AM
Hello Friends,

Last Saturday the tent protests in Israel had their last rally. The call for a million man rally didn't work out for them even though they did get 300,000 - 400,000 (depending on the different sources for participation) nation wide to come to their shows. I was following the participation on the live TV coverage from around 7pm. The numbers were quite low up till around 9pm when the shows started ...... interesting isn't it. Another interesting point is the severe disappointment of the TV commentators the majority of whom are way left of center (to put it mildly) as are the majority of news paper "reporters". Yep, we have the same problem here with the MSM. During the week prior to the rally there was non stop TV promotion for the rally with the cry that all should participate. To say that they were disappointed with the results is an understatement. They had staff covering the events and were interviewing many of the participants and were dismayed when many openly said they were there to watch the shows and spend a cheap evening out.

The day after the rally (Sunday) they started dismantling the tent "cities". Apparently all the "homeless" returned to their homes. Ironic isn't it? But one of the climaxes were interviews with some who will remain in the tents claiming they have no where to go. Not many but there were some. One family in particular stuck in my mind. A couple in their late thirties with 5 children who claim they have had a problem paying rent for years and most of the time they live with family and in particular the grandmother of the wife. What was very disturbing to me with this family was that the wife is pregnant with her 6th child. Please don't misunderstand I am all for big families if you can afford them but when you are finding it difficult to support your family you don't have 6 children. Israel does give allowances for each child and they will now be getting an allowance for 6 children. While I pity their children I have only contempt for the parents who show absolutely no common sense and disregard for the well being of their children. They think the government has to support them and in my opinion that is the crux of the problem.

It's been proven that the whole protest movement was organized and planned by the extreme left and the attempt to claim it's not political is a garbage claim. There was nothing spontaneous about the tent cities the dates were set in advance by these extreme left wing groups and majority of the participants were duped by the claims of spontaneousness. The only objective of the "organizers" was to topple the government. People are becoming aware of what happened and are disassociating themselves from the protest movements.

That said for those that were posting about the protests with the hope that major political changes will take place I want to assure you that it is far from the truth. In a recent poll the Government party and it's coalition members remain at their present strength some even gaining in strength (that includes Nationalist parties that aren't part of the coalition) and the only outcome is that the left wing voters will be splitting their vote amongst the different parties and any new left wing party that might arise from the past "protest movement". Sorta makes you think doesn't it. People aren't as gullible as the arrogant minority extreme left wing seems to think they are.

The logical conclusion seems to be that the hopes of those supporting the "Arab Spring" to happen in Israel with violent uprisings and the extreme left to take over (like the Muslim Brotherhood take over in Egypt) just isn't gonna happen.

Shalom,

Peter

Social Justice May Boomerang at the Polls

A new poll shows the reaction at the polls could be a slap in the face to Kadima without hurting nationalist and religious parties.
By Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

A new poll shows that the reaction at the polls could be a slap in the face to center-left Kadima and the left-wing Labor party without hurting nationalist and religious parties and clearly illusrates that the protest movement has not made a political dent in the government coalition.

The results of the Panorama poll, released on Voice of Israel government radio last week, are a blow to the ”social justice” protest movement that has tried to set up the Netanyahu government as the source of most of Israel’s social and economic problems.

If elections were held now, the Likud party would maintain its 27 seats, the strongly nationalist Yisrael Beiteinu party would gain one seat and win 16 mandates, the Shas religious party would also add one seat and have 12 Knesset Members, and the national religious parties would maintain their strength. The hareidi religious United Torah Judaism party would win six seats, one more than the present five.

On the other hand, Kadima’s strength would plummet from 28 to 18, and Labor would lose three of its 13 MKs, despite those parties having an active presence at the "tent cities." The benefactors would be the new Independence (Atzmaut) party headed by Ehud Barak, the Green party, which never has succeeded in gaining Knesset representation, and the left-wing Meretz faction, which would double its Knesset membership from three to six.

The Arab parties also would maintain their present strength if elections were held now.

Voice of Israel, which along with center-left newspapers has been promoting the social justice movement and providing day-to-day and sometimes hour-to-hour coverage of minor activities at demonstrations, did not post the results of the poll on its website, an indication that the findings were not according to its desires and expectations.

Hello Peter and Evelyn,

I once held this guy in high regard until he voted to give zerObama a blank check to use for bribes on his trek to re-election. He was last guy I figured would shoot himself in the foot. But he did when he voted to raise the debt ceiling with no real tangible current cuts to be found. Nope he caved in and I expect he will cave even further as time goes by. Compromise with the left never moves us to the right. Just puts us further away from our Founder's vision for our future and one step closer to Tyranny.

Allen West Hosts “Islamophobic” Anti-Ground Zero Mosque Event
