An interesting comment to an interesting blog post.

Fourth Try at a Two State Solution

http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/

A few observations:

1) Where is the ISRAELI-MADE PROPOSAL?

So far Israel lets everyone else call the shots. Every Israeli government adopts a passive stance. It may argue over the details of the implementation of foreign demands - but it never presents a truly Israeli-made solution. And the only legal and practical solution is ANNEXATION.

2) One of the main problem right now concerns LANGUAGE. Israel has adopted the lexicon of its enemies.

For example, the word "peace" has never been properly defined. From both Arab history as outlined on this column and from their rhetoric, PEACE with Israel means nothing less than FULL JEWISH SURRENDER.

There is NOT ONE SIGN that points to a genuine desire by the Arabs - whatever their politics may be - to live in peace with the Jews. None whatsoever. From TV children programs to statements by top Fatah officials.

Israelis know this. And so does the Israeli government.

3) It's A MAKE BELIEVE GAME in which the Israeli government is a willing participant. Everyone lies to the Jews of Israel.

4) Israelis still think that since the Arabs haven't got their act together, they are safe.

Wrong.

The plan to dismantle Israel through partition has never been as strong, as well organized internationally, and with such good possibilities as today. The Jews are not even fighting back!!!

5) It's my impression - and I hope I'm wrong - that Israelis are not alarmed enough at the possibility that partition may be SOON imposed by the United Nations.

The only way to prevent this is to proceed with annexation and to do it swiftly and without apologies - offering the Arabs a whole range of democratic rights, residency, and the possibility of becoming citizens in the future. If they are interested. If they are good. And if they apply for it. Many may choose to emigrate and Israel should help them financially to do so.

6) WHO SPEAKS FOR ISRAEL? Not the Israeli government, too busy implementing the US agenda for the country.

What's needed is a group of PROMINENT AND RESPECTED ISRAELIS united in the demand for annexation based on the League of Nations Agreement. People such as Yoram Ettinger, Professors for a Strong Israel, and many others could organize and speak with one voice for the country.

It is heartbreaking to watch how the whole world has ganged up on Israel and the government is so pathetically weak and ineffective.

May Wisdom and the knowledge you gained go with you,

RE: HSIG- History Repeating Itself?
7/27/2010 6:16:51 AM
Hello Friends,

History has a way of repeating itself and the only problem is that people don't learn from past mistakes.

The arch terrorist Yasser Arafat tried the humanitarian "flotilla" tactic many years ago. Well he also used the sea for his terrorist attacks on innocent civilians. In the long run his "humanitarian flotillas" and sea bound terrorist activities didn't work and he gave it up in the end.

Now a days with MSM distorting facts and creating mayhem with their biased "reporting" Hamas and the radical Islamic governments are succeeding where Arafat failed. The "Humanitarian Flotilla's" have the same objectives that Arafat had but the progressive world we're living in today with the aid of biased MSM and "leaders" like B Hussein with his Islamic agenda distort facts and make the terrorists look like Mother Teresa. I wonder when the world will wake up and face the very uncomfortable realization that they've been duped, misled and misinformed with the MSM puppets leading the pack?

Here's Dry Bones' take on this and today it's a historic trio of graphics.

Shalom,

Peter

Today's Golden Oldie is a Dry Bones cartoon done 22 years ago in 1988.

Back in 1988, Yasser Arafat attempted to stir up international support by a boat-based public relations plan. It was the first version of the Gaza "Flotilla"! It didn't work out. Notice that the Palestinian terrorists in the cartoon are wearing ski masks. Such a popular terrorist fashion of the day that everyone who saw the cartoon back then would have immediately recognized the speakers as terrorists.

I've posted several previous golden oldies and columns about Arafat's "Refugee" Boat campaign which made waves back in 1988. Today's cartoon marked the final sinking of the enterprise.

-Dry Bones- Israel's Political Comic Strip Since 1973

Last week I posted a Dry Bones Cartoon from 1988 about PLO chieftain Yasser Arafat and his provocative Refugee Ship Ploy.

In the cartoon the terrorist leader is explaining some basic principles to his lieutenants, who are wearing ski masks. The terrorist portrayal of the Palestinian Arabs as victims has constantly been used to deny Israeli legitimacy ...they provide a "humanitarian crisis" cover story in which we are the cruel, demonic oppressors, and the media just eats it up and spreads it around.

Back in 1988 the media frenzy about Arafat's "Refugee Ship" was as intense and as staged as the Gaza crisis of 2008. Today's Golden Oldie is one of a number of cartoons I did as the story developed. If you missed the first cartoon (and the background info) just click here.

In the next Golden Oldie I'll let you know how it all turned out.

The portrayal of Palestinians as refugees and victims so crucial to the drumming up of rage against the State of Israel reached a new high point with the attempt this month to orchestrate a break into Israel by Gazan civilians suffering a "Humanitarian Crisis". Or was it just a rerun of a similar attempt to stage an event that was tried 20 years ago in February of 1988?

A loyal reader sent me a link to Lenny Ben-David's blog which recalls that:

"Israel was faced with a similar threat exactly 20 years ago when the PLO started to outfit a ship, Sol Phryne, and renamed it the al Awda (the Return). Some 200 Palestinian refugees and international "dignitaries" were slated to board the ship and provocatively sail into Haifa…" -more

Just as the PLO had appropriated the term Palestinian (which used to refer only to Jews in the region), Arafat was now planning a bizarro version of Israel's 1947 "refugee ship", the Exodus. If you don't know the story of the Exodus ship click here. And to learn more about the sending of the Jews back to internment camps by the British, click here.

If you'd like, next week, I'll post more of the cartoons that I did as the phony humanitarian crisis "refugee ship" ploy developed and played itself out back then, twenty years ago this very month.

Hi Jim,
I read the article when it hit my inbox and as usual Daniel writes it as it is.
The comment has its merits even though I don't agree with everything in it. The main problem is that Israel as he wrote is way to accommodating to the B Hussein regime and rather then try to pacify the joker Bibi should say a resounding NO to many of his demands. Israeli PMs have done it in the past with presidents that were anti Israel and lived through the process. At the present time we have the worst president ever in all regards and Bibi's not good under pressure as I've written in the past even though the last meeting was a different cup of tea it's not cos B Hussein changed his colors but he's afraid of the mid term elections and it's a tactic to "pacify" the Jewish voters that supported him in the past and many other pro Israel Americans that did the same.
Shalom,
Peter

RE: HSIG - More On The "Humanitarian Flotilla"
7/27/2010 7:14:53 AM
Hello Friends,

Here's some more on the "humanitarian flotilla". We already know it was backed and funded by IHH a radical Islamic organization with ties to Al Qaeda and other terrorists organizations. Its front as a humanitarian organization is a sham that most countries recognize and the organization is banned in many European countries and recognized as the terrorist organization it is. The fact that Erdogan has close ties to this terrorist group and is a close friend of its founder and leader is of course ignored by MSM and B Hussein their agent in the WH.

Shalom,

Peter

The Truth About the Flotilla

Senior Israeli Defense Forces officials have provided the following video about the “Flotilla Incident” that took place on May 31, 2010. It reveals the truth behind the event, which has been ignored by the international community and buried by the mainstream media.

RE: HSIG - The Brothel Named Iran
7/27/2010 3:33:06 PM
Hello Friends,

The lunatic regime in Iran with the maniac Ahmadinejad at its head might be coming to a head. The below article by Michael Ledeen is an eye opener even for those that are following what's happening in Iran and certainly shows that when pressure is put on them even though they openly state all is well behind the scenes things might not be as "rosy" as they claim.

It is interesting that the EU raised the pressure on Iran with additional sanctions but as usual Russia and China are "cooling" off on the sanctions. Double dealing as they always do.

The below article is an interesting read and we might see interesting things happening in the future.

Shalom,

Peter

The Brothel Named Iran

I’ll bet you haven’t seen very much news about Iran during the past week or 10 days, have you? And yet there’s lots of news:

First of all, there is still no end to the bazaar strike, even though the regime has taken very violent action against the strikers. A large part of the beautiful bazaar in Kerman has been torched (for that matter, regime thugs have taken to setting ablaze large sections of forest land in the region.) Nor will the bazaar strikes end soon, since this week marks religious celebrations that traditionally close the bazaars all over the country.

The major natural gas pipeline between Iran and Turkey was sabotaged. Enormous damage was done, and the authorities have no estimate as to how long it will be until repair work is finished. Meanwhile the two countries announced plans for a brand-new pipeline.

Saturday – Sunday night there was a serious fire at the old petrochemical plant on Kharq island. That island is very important to Iran, because it is at once the central point from which Iranian crude oil is exported, and one end of the major pipeline that carries crude and refined products to the mainland. So anything that goes wrong there has immediate consequences both for the national economy and for daily life.

You may recall that a bit over a week ago, amidst the continuing strikes at major bazaars around the country, there was a double suicide terrorist attack against the mosque in Zahedan, killing nearly 30 revolutionary guards. That unhappy city is still in a state of virtual military occupation, of the most brutal variety. Innocent civilians have been gunned down for the crime of walking at night, and plainclothes killers have gone door to door among the homes of bazaar shopkeepers, killing anyone who answers the bell. Here’s an exceptionally well written report:

The IRI kills the Rigi brothers, a few weeks apart, without proper trial, without even considering the possibility that giving Rigi a death penalty together with a pardon and a life term in prison, will have served the country far better than his death. The IRI is behaving like a savage barbarian; one matching the rogue elements of Jundollah; primitive, uncultured, mercurial!

So Jundollah sends suicide bombers and IRI sends thugs to the streets of Zahedan, the city of kind people, open minded people, mountain and desert people, city of smuggled goodies, city of white Sunni mosques, and dusty parks. The thugs, (the) report says, have been kniving people. These knife thrusters would be of the same ilk that was unleashed on Tehranis in Ashura: they are most likely Ahmadinejad’s products from the “rehabilitation program” that found “convicted criminals” a useful job in the society.

According to local observers, these knife-pushers are the worst of all: they seem to target Balouchis randomly, and beat them up for no reason–further fueling the ethnic resentments and convictions that the Balouch are discriminated against.

It has been a very hot summer, and the electrical grid in and around Tehran has given up the ghost many times, especially in recent weeks. Not only have citizens suddenly found their lights and air conditioning out-sometimes for half the day or night–but the two big automobile factories have already reduced production by one full shift a day. The president has publicly blamed the problem on foreigners, as is his wont, but his problems are local.

As the regime increasingly wages war against itself, the comings and goings of seemingly powerful people have become almost impossible to sort out. There have been repeated purges in the ranks of the Revolutionary Guards, and the supreme commander, Gen. Jafari, has now publicly stated that many senior officers had actively sided with the opposition. Why then, the general was asked, had he not punished them properly (with torture and death)? His answer was telling: it’s better to convince them of the error of their ways.

This is a surprising answer, to be sure, but after all it is the same answer that the supreme leader has implicitly given to the much asked question: why have you not properly punished the leaders of the Green Movement, Mousavi and Karroubi? In both cases, the regime is afraid to move decisively against their opponents. Khamenei & Co. are real tough guys when it comes to torturing and killing students, political activists, homosexuals, Bahais, Christians and women. But even when it comes to their favorite targets — the women — they retreat in the face of strong protests, as in the recent case when they suspended the stoning of a poor woman unfairly accused of adultery. Her plight has attracted international attention, and the regime backed off.

Yeah, surprising answers abound in Iran these days, even when nobody asked the question. For example, Ahmadinejad seems to have lost his official theologian:

Hojattoleslam Mohammad Nasser Saghay Biria, President Ahmadinejad’s Advisor on Religious Affairs, has resigned his post in what his close associates are describing as a protest against Ahmadinejad’s alleged un-Islamic views on requirements for women to wear veil and conform to strict Islamic dress code. Ahmadinejad has not yet accepted Saghay’s resignation.

Saghay Biria is a disciple of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi.

That last line should get your attention, because the Ayatollah in question is generally considered to be the leading light in the cult of the 12th Imam, the little boy who had been destined become the leader of Islam but had to hide from his would-be killers some 900 years ago, and whose return would mark the End of Days. Mesbah Yazdi is said to be Ahmadinejad’s guru, so why is his disciple walking out on the president? Your guess is as good as mine, but whatever it means, it is another signpost along the death spiral of the Islamic Republic.

Rulers of the Islamic Republic are looking more and more like the gang that couldn’t shoot straight, and Banafsheh uncovered a document that should cause them considerable embarrassment. It’s a flyer, recruiting virgin women for prostitution in a brothel located in the holiest site of one of the two holiest cities in Iran: the Imam Reza Shrine in Mashad. You might wish to read the whole thing—it includes going rates—but here’s the essence of it:

In order to elevate the spiritual atmosphere, create proper psychological conditions and tranquility of mind, the Province of the Quds’eh-Razavi of Khorassan has created centers for temporary marriage (just next door to the shrine) for those brothers who are on pilgrimage to the shrine of our eighth Imam, Imam Reza, and who are far away from their spouses.

To that end, we call on all our sisters who are virgins, who are between the ages of 12 and 35 to cooperate with us.

It’s a religious thing, you see. (I added the color and bold type to emphasise the "honor" they grant their virgins and women in general PF)

To me, this is a perfect symbol of the Islamic Republic: even the holiest places have been corrupted and turned into brothels and charnel houses. Degradation is the common denominator of Iranian life, and the women, starting at age 12, are its most common victims.

Faster, please.
