RE: HSIG - Egyptian And Arab Hypocrisy
9/9/2009 3:44:15 PM

 Hello Friends,

This is a first for me but Geketa tried to post in this thread and for some reason she wasn't able to post either in IE or FF. So, I'm posting it for her.

Shalom,

Peter

Hi Peter and Friends,

It has been a long time since I have been on the forum. With this new format it is nearly impossible for me to load the pages let alone post a reply. So, I will give it a go and see what happens.

It took me a couple of days to catch up LOL
I agree with you it would be great to have someone like Geert Wilders to step up to bat and speak out about the radical Islamic agenda that is spreading worldwide. I am not sure if it is fear or that here in the US it is due to ignorance, I believe it is a bit of both. We have not been confronted with the issues as much as many other countries. We don't live in constant threat of total anihalation nor do we have to contend with rockets on a daily base living in fear for our children. I also know that is no excuse for not speaking out and I do what I can to educate those I speak to about the dangers of Islam here in the US. I no longer buy Tyson food products because of their appeasements to their Islamic employees that are allowed to leave workstations to pray no other religion is allowed that privilege.

I do not feel sorry for the Palestinians they have had numerous occasions to make peace with Israel and every time there is a cease fire or an agreement made it is them who breaks the peace not Israel. It should also be obvious that the other Arab nations surrounding the Palestinians could not care less what happens to the Palestinians as shown by their actions. The bottom line is they have never and will never settle for anything less than total destruction of Israel and world dominance. Our only hope is that the world will wake up before it is too, late.

Shalom,

Geketa

RE: HSIG - Is There Mutual Trust And Confidence Between Israel And The PA?
9/10/2009 7:36:55 AM

Hello Friends,

Todays Dry Bones is a golden oldie from 1999. It's ironic that not much has changed over the past 10 years or for that matter over the past 40 years. The added value in a negative sense is that the Palestinians now have their agent in the White House the lover and respecter of all that is Islam.

Over the years through all the peace talks Israel's made concession after concession all in the name of a true peace agreement . Unfortunately all to no avail since it's always been one sided. Israel keeping the agreements and the Palestinians breaking them.

Now we're in a new phase with B Hussein assuming not the task of facilitator in the negotiations but the head honcho and spokesman for the Palestinians. One sided demands on Israel and supposed demands on the Palestinians who immediately say nothing doing and of course B Hussein says nothing at all. It's as if he is coordinating everything the Fatah/PLO/ PA say and do with them in advance. We've been through this with the peanut farmer (and peanut brain) Jimmy Carter in the past but B Hussein seems incapable of learning from past errors and is an imitation of JC but much worse.

Time will tell what the results of B Hussein's present campaign of pressure on Bibi Netanyahu will bring about but in my humble opinion in the long run nothing will change for the better since the Palestinians aren't interested in peace with Israel and say so time and again. I wonder when people will start believing what they actually say. Hmmm, I forgot main stream media doesn't report that in the news. I guess it isn't worthy enough for their attention.

Shalom,

Peter

Today's Golden Oldie is from September 6, 1999.

A cartoon from ten years ago that is as fresh as the latest pressure on us coming out of the Obama White House.

RE: HSIG - Palestinians Must Accept Nothing Less Then Israel's Annihilation
9/13/2009 6:04:55 AM

 Hello Friends,

Most of you are aware that Hamas is funded, supported and supplied by the Iranian government and they have embraced the Iranians agenda to annihilate Israel.

Hamas has no interest in peace talks nor are they willing to accept the 2 state solution that the PA at least gives lip service to while their controlling arm Fatah/PLO say the opposite. No one seems willing to listen to what they have to say and that of course includes the main stream media the most guilty of mass disinformation and of course B Hussein the great pretender.

Below is an article that shows that Iran (as if we didn't know all that without the article) is teaching its clients Hamas and Hezbollah that annihilation of Israel and the Jewish people is the only goal to strive for and that it's within their grasp.

This same Iran that's striving to be a nuclear power and they couldn't care less what the world thinks about it. They'll "talk" and claim that it's not in their agenda but today we all know that's not true. Was it only a year ago that the CIA claimed that it's not within their reach? While Israel with its intelligence info claimed the opposite. Today the deniers are all in concert and know the Iranians are not far from producing their first nuclear bomb. If you for a minute think that this only endangers Israel then think again. This is a danger to the Western world and the more "moderate" Arab/Islamic countries who in most cases are a different sect of Islam. they are scared to death of the Iranian threat.

So my friends it's wake up time and the Iranians are only a part of the Islamic danger to the world. It's not only Israel they've targeted but all the infidels out there and if you aren't a Muslim YOU ARE  one of them.

Shalom,

Peter

Three recent editorials in Iran's major conservative dailies Kayhan and Jomhouri-e Eslami gave a detailed account of Iran's position vis-à-vis the U.S. peace plan. It was claimed that the U.S. and Israel are trying to force on the Palestinians a plan that safeguards their own interests and perpetuates Palestinian inferiority, by activating the U.S.'s and Israel's proxies in the region - that is, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and other Arabs from the "conciliation camp." Jomhouri-e Eslami called on the Palestinians to reinforce their resistance front and to reject anything less than Israel's annihilation, which it termed "a goal within reach." Kayhan purported that "the Arabs who are in favor of conciliation," whom it dubbed "hypocrites within the [Islamic] nation," "are collaborating in the implementation of the Zionist-American version of peace by giving a green light to the Americans." It added that "peace - whether according to the Arab or the American formula - is tantamount to recognizing the brutal and artificial Zionist regime," and said that "unless this regime is completely eradicated from the region's political map, no Middle East peace is
possible."(1)

In another editorial, Kayhan called on the Muslim countries not to participate in the talks with the U.S. and the Zionists, which the U.S. has set for September 2009, concomitantly with the U.N. General Assembly, in order to discuss the U.S. comprehensive peace initiative in the Middle East. The paper reiterated that "a solution [in the Middle East] can be achieved only by completely annihilating the Zionist regime, which is the source of all insecurity in the region," and that "the establishment of two states, Palestinian and Zionist, would be the same as totally crushing the rights of the Palestinian people, rather than securing these rights for them." It was also stated that "the conflict [between the U.S. and Israel] is not genuine, but merely a fraud aimed at deceiving the Arabs from the conciliation
[camp]."(2)

Following are excerpts from the Jomhouri-e Eslami editorial:

"Peace - Whether According to the Arab or the American Formula - Is Tantamount to Recognizing the Brutal and Artificial Zionist Regime"
"Official Palestinian recognition of the Zionist regime by the Palestinians is Israel's most cherished dream. It would deal a death blow to aspirations for a Palestinian state, grant everlasting legitimacy to the Zionist regime, and lay the ground for the attainment of its expansionist goals in the Middle East.

"The Zionists came close to fulfilling these aspirations when Yasser Arafat consented, by means of a disgraceful agreement [i.e. the Oslo accords], to eliminate [the article on] combating the Zionists from the Palestinian charter. But the Palestinian nation was not prepared to acquiesce in this disgrace; following the example of the Islamic Revolution, which has never stopped fighting the Zionist regime, it turned to Islam [for a solution].

"Yasser Arafat fell captive to the dirty games of the Zionists, the Americans, and the Europeans. He died having lost his hold over the Palestinian people and stripped of all his past triumphs as a fighter.

"As a mediator for the Zionists, [Egyptian President] Hosni Mubarak has found himself in the same predicament [as Arafat] - but there already is a file [with incriminating evidence against] him which grows heavier by the day. The obvious difference between the two is that, unlike Arafat, Mubarak has no past as an anti-Zionist fighter; moreover, he was trained by a U.S. intelligence apparatus.

"When, in a revolutionary [act], Khaled Al-Islambouli executed [Egyptian president Anwar] Sadat, America hoisted Mubarak onto the throne as one of its capable agents, to rule over Egypt. For 28 years, they have been using him to promote their anti-Islamic and anti-Arabs goals.(3)

"The latest example of [Mubarak's] serving America and the Zionists was his [position] during the 2009 Gaza war: He supported the Zionist regime, especially regarding the Rafah crossing and the Rafah tunnels.

"U.S. President [Barack] Obama's and Egyptian regime head Hosni Mubarak's joint effort to [persuade] the Palestinians to agree to the establishment of a Palestinian state. comes at a time when the Zionist regime is at its weakest, and when its leaders' morale needs boosting. The Palestinian jihad organizations, which have realized that [the Zionist regime] is in deplorable condition and that the American-Zionist plan is [essentially] imperialistic, have rejected the latter.

"The Palestinians Must Not Be Satisfied With Anything Less Than The Annihilation of the Zionist Regime - A Goal That [Today] Is Within Reach"
"This Palestinian position makes perfect sense, and will undoubtedly bear fruit. Judging by its two successive defeats in the 2006 Lebanon war and the 2009 Gaza war, the Zionist regime cannot withstand a war against it by the Palestinian people.

"It seems that the Palestinian people's warfare [against the Zionists] has found its mark, and [therefore] the Palestinians must not be satisfied with anything less than the annihilation of the Zionist regime - a goal that [today] is within reach."(4)

(2) Kayhan (Iran), August 22, 2009. Majlis speaker Ali Larijani said, in a similar vein, that the peace plan being formulated by Obama did not address even one of the Palestinians' basic rights, and called on the Muslim nations to be mindful of this deception. ISNA (Iran), August 25, 2009.
(3) In the original, the term is misspelled "anti-West."

9/14/2009 4:49:37 AM

 Hello Friends,

It's a sad duty to report that Assaf Ramon the son of Ilan Ramon the first Israeli Astronaut who died in the Colombia crash died yesterday during flight training.

Three months ago Assaf finished his flight training as the number 1 cadet in flight school. This is a double tragedy for his family and all of Israel. He will be buried in the Nahalal cemetery today next to his father Ilan Ramon.

May he Rest In Peace and his family know no more sorrow. All of Israel mourns the death of Assaf Ramon.

Shalom,

Peter

Astronaut Ilan Ramon's son dies in IAF crash
By Anshel Pfeffer, Haaretz Correspondent, and Haaretz Service

Tragedy struck the family of late Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon again Sunday, when his son Captain Asaf Ramon was killed in a crash while flying an Israel Air Force F16-A.

Ilan Ramon, Israel's first astronaut was one of seven crew members killed when the U.S. space shuttle Columbia disintegrated upon re-entry on February 1, 2003.

Asaf Ramon's aircraft crashed near the settlement of Bnei Haver, in the rugged terrain of the Hebron Hills. The Israel Defense Forces carried out an aerial and terrestrial search of the area for some 90 minutes before locating the crash site.

IAF Blackhawk ("Yanshuf") helicopters carrying soldiers from 669, the Air Force's elite search and rescue unit, were the first to locate the plane, and they retrieved the pilot's body.

At a press conference Sunday evening, a grim-faced Brigadier General Yochanan Locker of the Israel Air Force confirmed the circumstances of the crash.

"The plane crashed during a routine training flight," Locker said. "Helicopters, rescue forces from [elite unit] 669, grounds troops and rescue personnel were dispatched to the site.

"The remains of the plane were found after an extensive search. The Air Force commander has established a committee of inquiry headed by a colonel to investigate the incident," he said. "It is a difficult day for the Air Force [when there is] an accident like this, in which people are killed."

Asaf, 21, excelled in the IAF's grueling training course for pilots. In June he received a presidential honor and was given his pilot's wings by President Shimon Peres. He then joined the squadron in which the course's advanced training program is carried out.

The young pilot escaped another plane crash only half a year ago during a routine training flight.

The Air Force commander, Major General Ido Nehushtan, called an official inquiry and halted training in Israel's F-16 squadrons until further notice, the military said in a statement.

The IAF is investigating a number of possible causes and is looking into whether Ramon was suffering from any physiological problems, such as vertigo or a blackout, at the time of the crash.

The young captain had passed a physical exam and was not known to have any medical problems.

Ilan Ramon himself was a fighter pilot in the IAF, and the youngest to take part in Israel's 1981 air strike on Iraq's unfinished Osirak nuclear reactor. He was also the son and grandson of Holocaust survivors.

People in Israel had tracked Ramon's journey into space as a welcome distraction from the violence of the second intifada; they responded to his death with shock and grief.

On Sunday, Israeli TV stations screened footage of Ramon floating weightless in the space shuttle, swallowing floating drops of water and speaking about his love for his wife and children.

Asaf, was the eldest of Ilan Ramon's four children. He was 15 when his father died; shortly afterward, he promised on a number of occasions that he would follow in his father's footsteps and serve as a pilot and possibly even as an astronaut in the future. He is survived by his mother, and his two brothers and sister.

Shortly before receiving his wings, Ramon told the IAF journal that, "It was important to me to mention my father and tell his stories, because I am proud of him and proud to be his son. But I also want people to know me as Asaf and not just as the son of the astronaut Ilan Ramon."
