| The reason the Feature of the Week forum was created was to honor people who have a positive influence on this community.
To qualify the person has to be an active member
and one who contributes to the positive atmosphere here at AdlandPro. Here are the criteria for nominating a member for the Feature of the Week
(also referred to as the Person of the Week, POTW).
This criterion can be seen at the site below:

How Do I Get Selected as Person of the Week?
To be chosen as Person of the week you:
• Are highly visible on the community
In the past 350 post were the minimum requirement, we
aren't locked in on that number but a minimum of 300 posts
is mandatory. Posts that are mainly advertising posts will not
be considered.
Please note highly visible with a positive influence in and on
the community means just that. You have to have an active
forum and/or be active in community forums that are not ad
threads.
• Are always seen as respectful, professional, and helpful.
• Must be nominated for the program by another member
of the Community and voted on by other members.
• Must have a real photo of themselves on their profile.

Hello Friends,
I was born 42 years ago, at Loznica, a small town 150 km far from Belgrade (Serbia, former Yugoslavia).
After finishing high school, left my birthplace, and went to the University at Belgrade, where started to study the Medicine. Finished it, and decided to learn for the specialist of the Clinical immunology. For 15 years I work at the Institute for Rheumatology at Belgrade.
I love my job very much.
My life was plain and peaceful, and almost 38 full years I lived as a machine - being humble and just fulfilling my duties .
Was married with my love from my teenage ... and now I am not sure if I remember any time without him?
We people usually consider disease as our enemy, even though it was said that pain (or disease) also may be our best friend. It shows a way when our life realize that we actually waste it and ... sending us warning in the form of disease.
One day, 4 years ago I was faced with a very merciless diagnose.
My ex-husband was very gifted with slyness ... and I was a blind and naive as a hen/chicken.
This man has a virtue to make me ALWAYS feel guilty. Also that moment, when I came home, with a red and teary eyes, very scared for my life. When have heard words about my guilt for the disease, about which I just informed him (and he also was a medical doctor) ............ that moment I may consider as my second birth.
My biggest fault was my luck of need to open my heart to speak about my life to anyone. Thinking now better about that, I can figure out that I didn`t believe people. Only one person ever - deserved my confidence ... but her life already was a slow walk (in the chains) all over the hell ... and I just couldn`t add my pain to her.
But I had to. My life was easily moving to it`s end.
Having her love and strength, a big knowledge and God`s gift ... today I am another person. Healthy, wiser, independent, aware, ALIVE, loved and .... joyful.
Her name is Branka. She is only one person I ever have had.
Family is just a social group connected genetically.
But she is also my family .
She taught me to LOVE LIFE , to see beyond obscurity (and Joe D. wrote amazing poem with this subject) and all what I know out of my profession - what is worthy and adjusted with a common sense - I have learned from her.
I don`t have much time to enjoy in my hobbies, but whenever I can, I go to theater, opera, ballet ... Read as much as time permits me. Enjoy cooking. Walks. Swimming.
I like Adland and specially my Meshuganeh family and I am grateful for having always a big and healthy laughter and giggles with them. As Branka said at one forum: THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND - LAUGH WITH US. Those who don`t understand - laughs AT us. But, each finger on one hand is different, isn`t it ?
I very appreciate for being chosen for the POTW award and wish to thank to all who support this forum, and to all who think of me as of person who deserves this recognition.
