Thomas, it was my Uncle Bob who took me up in an Aeronca Champ before I learned to fly. He later took me up in a Citabria and did some aerobatics with me in the back seat. We did some barrel rolls, and the thing I remember most about that experience was I got dirt in my eyes from the floor. I told him about it, and he laughed and said I'd get over it! Later on that same year, I began taking flying lessons...1976.
