Hi Myrna,

It's great to be back here at one of my favorite Forums and back with so many good Friends. It's good to hear from you Roger. Although I am having a little difficulty with some parts of the new format, I promise that I will get around to visit all of my Friend's forums that I have been missing.

This is indeed my favorite Season of the year and this is especially true this year, since I have so much for which to be thankful.

Here's an Iroquois Prayer for the Season

Thanksgiving Prayer

We return thanks to our mother, the earth, which sustains us.

We return thanks to the rivers and streams, which supply us with water.

We return thanks to all herbs, which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.

We return thanks to the moon and stars, which have given to us their light when the sun was gone.

We return thanks to the sun, that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.

Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit, in Whom is embodied all goodness, and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.

May your heart be glad and your home be happy at this joyful time of year,

May your Thanksgiving be joyful and may happiness surround it,

Finally, may there be good things on your table, and those whom you love all around it!
