Re: Great announcement for Native Americans

Hi Myrna,

Just stopped by to say Hello and to read any posts that I had missed.  Sometimes I stay away too long and just have to stop by for another dose of Inspiration.  Can't think of a better place to be Inspired and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all that you're doing.

I was reading once more the story of the Trail of Tears and wanted to share this with you...

When the Trail of Tears started in 1838, the mothers of the Cherokee were grieving and crying so much, they were unable to help their children survive the journey. The elders prayed for a sign that would lift the mother’s spirits to give them strength. The next day a beautiful rose began to grow where each of the mother’s tears fell.

The rose is white for their tears; a gold center represents the gold taken from Cherokee lands, and seven leaves on each stem for the seven Cherokee clans.

The wild Cherokee Rose grows along the route of the Trail of Tears into eastern Oklahoma today.

Hi Phil,

I am so glad to see you, I have missed you very much, because I always love your posts, you add so much to this forum.

Thinking of the Native Americans and all the abuse they have suffered and are suffering, because they have never been treated right. Lied to for centuries , made to dress and act like the white man, taking away all his land., living reservations and etc. Look what the white man has done to take care of mother earth, chemicals need I say more.

Sometimes I listen to these tapes and stories and get so overwhelmed the tears just flow. I think of the pain that has been bestowed upon them is unbearable to think about.  But someday soon and very soon when Nesara is announced things will change and we will have our land back and no more chemicals, war, sorrow, oh it is going to be so exciting.  It is all about LOVE.

Blessings,
Myrna

Hello Again Myrna,

You are much too kind.  It is I who am enriched deeply by each visit to your wonderful Forum.  I am not ashamed to admit that I am often reduced to tears when I hear of all of the pain and sadness inflicted upon Native Americans over the past Century.  In much the same manner, I weep for the Defenseless Wolves and many other of His Creatures who are being slaughtered daily by our Government.  Since the Wolf has always held a deep, Spiritual significance for Native Americans, I hope that you won't mind my posting this here.

The Legend of the Two Wolves

wolves.jpg

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Perhaps we should all take a moment and reflect on which wolf we are feeding – like when men in power use war to promote peace and televangelists are calling for assassinations. The legend lives in all of us who choose to recognize and feed it.

Wolves Still Being Threatened

If anyone thought that the Wolves were safe under the new Administration, think again. On Friday, March 6, 2009, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service stated its intention to move ahead with the former President Bush administration's anti-predator plan. Translation: Removal of wolves from the Endangered Species Act which would effectively take away protections from gray wolves in the northern Rocky Mountains and upper Midwest.

Wolves in the above regions still have yet to recover from the last onslaught and greatly need protections under the Endangered Species Act.

Idaho and Montana will likely begin the killing wolves as soon as they are permitted, and this could mean certain death to approximately 1,000 wolves who now make Greater Yellowstone -Glacier National Park area their home. No thanks to state-sponsored wolf hunts.

When wolves were removed from the Endangered Species Act for just four months in 2008, 110 wolves lost their lives.

Please take action to Save The Wolves Now.  Show Mom how much you care for God's creatures.  Please consider adopting a Wolf or a Wolf Family either to honor or in memory of your Mom this Mother's Day.  Click Below for full details...

Have A Blessed & Beautiful Weekend My Dear Friend,

Phil

Hi Myrna

I am sorry I have not visited you here lately.

Trying to find a certain posting in Jill's forum I ran across your post
of 3-15.

Golden Eagle has not been well, so keep him in your prayers.  Here is
his latest thought for the day.

ONE CREATOR MADE US ALL.
WE ARE OF MANY RACES,RELIGIONS AND CUSTOMS. OVER THOUSANDS OF YEARS WE HAVE MADE THE SAME MISTAKES
OVER AND OVER. WE HAVE TRYED TO MAKE OTHERS  BELIEVE
AND LIVE LIKE US. THESE GREAT WORLD POWERS RISE AND
FALL. ROMANS EMPIRE,BRITISH EMPIRE,ZULU EMPIRE,CHINESE DYNASTY AND ON AND ON IT GOES. CONQUORING OTHERS
RESULTS IN A TERRIBLE CULTURAL DISASTER RESULTING IN
A MELT DOWN OF A CULTURE. A PEOPLE WITH OUT THEIR
ROOTS LOOSE THEIR WAY AND SUDDENLY DRUGS,ALCOHOL
AND SUICIDE ARE COMMON PLACE........................................................................................................
IS IT NOT TIME TO SHOW MUTUAL RESPECT TO ALL PEOPLES
AND EMBRACE OUR DIFFERENCES?

DO NOT ALL RELIGIONS PREACH PEACE AND LOVE FOR THEIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS?

DO WE WISH TO TRAVEL AND WORLD WHERE EVERY COUNTRY
HAS MCDONALDS,BURGER KING AND KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN?

WE DO NOT ALL HAVE TO HAVE THE SAME CUSTOMS AND
BELIEFS TO LIVE IN PEACE FOR REMEMBER THE SAME
CREATOR MADE US ALL

                                                                       Golden Eagle
............................................................................................................

I hope Golden Eagle is doing well.

Love, Helga
