Dearest young lady from California - I KISS YOUR HAND!!!!

WOW!

How amazing, inspiring and post full of sunshine !!!

After reading your words, I must admit I cann`t wait to meet you in person. I have learned that all big wishes cann`t than be fulfilled. So, I am sure Angels of Wishes will find the best time and place for the appointment .

Until then, with my sincerest gratitude and appreciation, I will leave you this great poem:

A sunset

by Victor Hugo

I love the evenings, passionless and fair, I love the evens,
Whether old manor-fronts their ray with golden fulgence leavens,
In numerous leafage bosomed close;
Whether the mist in reefs of fire extend its reaches sheer,
Or a hundred sunbeams splinter in an azure atmosphere
On cloudy archipelagos.

Oh, gaze ye on the firmament! a hundred clouds in motion,
Up-piled in the immense sublime beneath the winds' commotion,
Their unimagined shapes accord:
Under their waves at intervals flame a pale levin through,
As if some giant of the air amid the vapors drew
A sudden elemental sword.

The sun at bay with splendid thrusts still keeps the sullen fold;
And momently at distance sets, as a cupola of gold,
The thatched roof of a cot a-glance;
Or on the blurred horizon joins his battle with the haze;
Or pools the blooming fields about with inter-isolate blaze,
Great moveless meres of radiance.

Then mark you how there hangs athwart the firmament's swept track,
Yonder a mighty crocodile with vast irradiant back,
A triple row of pointed teeth?
Under its burnished belly slips a ray of eventide,
The flickerings of a hundred glowing clouds in tenebrous side
With scales of golden mail ensheathe.

Then mounts a palace, then the air vibrates--the vision flees.
Confounded to its base, the fearful cloudy edifice
Ruins immense in mounded wrack;
Afar the fragments strew the sky, and each envermeiled cone
Hangeth, peak downward, overhead, like mountains overthrown
When the earthquake heaves its hugy back.

These vapors, with their leaden, golden, iron, bronzèd glows,
Where the hurricane, the waterspout, thunder, and hell repose,
Muttering hoarse dreams of destined harms,-
'Tis God who hangs their multitude amid the skiey deep,
As a warrior that suspendeth from the roof-tree of his keep
His dreadful and resounding arms!

All vanishes! The Sun, from topmost heaven precipitated,
Like a globe of iron which is tossed back fiery red
Into the furnace stirred to fume,
Shocking the cloudy surges, plashed from its impetuous ire,
Even to the zenith spattereth in a flecking scud of fire
The vaporous and inflamèd spaume.

O contemplate the heavens! Whenas the vein-drawn day dies pale,
In every season, every place, gaze through their every veil?
With love that has not speech for need!
Beneath their solemn beauty is a mystery infinite:
If winter hue them like a pall, or if the summer night
Fantasy them starre brede.

Dear JoAnee,

I hope you would like this poem.

Thanks for making me so happy !!!

Blessings to you and your,

Luka

Hello Luka,

Once more, I'm late to the Party.  I hope that you will forgive me.  Actually, I feel that arriving late may have given me somewhat of an advantage.  I just finished reading all the Posts, for a second time, and I must say I have never before felt such an outpouring of Love at any Forum since I came to Adland over three years ago.  Thank You for being my Friend and for allowing me to share in that Love.  Most of all, Thank You for being such a Special Friend to us all and Thanks to both you and Branka for being such a living Testimony, as you put it, to those

"Two words that were exactly clear to me from the moment of my birth: God and Love."

As long as you have God and Love in your Life and in your Heart, then nothing can stop you or bring you down.

What else can I say that hasn't already been said.  I can only say

On Being Honored As The

163rd

Person Of The Week

You Deserve This And So Much More.

Enjoy The Spotlight My Friend!!!

Before I forget, one of our Favorite Buddies wanted to say a few words...

You also said that people speak of you as Mature for your years.  While you are that indeed, I would prefer to say that You are Wise for your years.  Chronological Age is simply a totaling of days and years.  What you learn and how you apply it during those days and years is what is actually important.

The following is a Poem, not one of mine, but instead penned by the Unknown Poet, that sums it up much better than I would ever be able to do.

Days Teach Me

Days teach me
To always dream
However it may never come true
But that's the best way
To live life through

Days teach me
To dream so high
Never give up and always try
Never let go or say goodbye

Days teach me
That when there is darkness
For sure dawn is the next
And when everything is so tiring
For sure there would be time to rest

Days teach me
To always care for a friend
Always be true and never pretend
Always love with no end
And the broken hearts try to mend

Days teach me
Never to feel the hate
Always be confident and never hesitate
Always believe in fate

Days teach me
That lovers meet & stay together
And others are apart
So if you are one who have been left behind
Don't cry and suffer
Just search for a new start

Days teach me
The past I must forget
And nothing needs my regret

Days teach me
To open my heart and forgive
Cause that will help me to survive and live

Days teach me
To always offer my helping hand
And never doubt in people when there is no proof
And always try to understand

Days teach me
Not to be shy
If I have done something wrong
But to admit it and be proud that I have learned
A lesson that will help me to be strong

Have A Beautiful & Blessed Weekend,

Phil

Thank you Jim, Ana Marie, and Peter for another awesome forum.

CONGRATULATIONS LUKA!

I absolutely LOVE your story, and I can so relate to:  But, things usually are not as they seem to be.

I too laughed at reading your tree climbing story.  It sounds like we both gave our mothers a few gray hairs, but I can guarantee you..........mine never laughed.  So, I am glad you have such loving memories with your mother.  She sounds wonderful.   lol

Keep the vision of a child always...........I can tell you have the aspirations for much success in your life, and I commend your lofty goals.

I am proud to be your friend, and enjoy your week as our Adland king!

Bless you,  Jill

Dearest Phil,

I am happy to hear you sense so much love at those paths of my reign .... If you could find a few grains of sadness :) .... they were just looking for you . I know you were busy and now I can tell ... THIS ROYAL BANQUET is blessed and abundant, and all my dearest friends have honored me by their presence.

Thank you dear Buddy for finding time to make me such happy!

I admire you for this my new image!

Actually, Garfield and I share a lot of in common ... My biggest trouble always is to find my number of sport shoes :) ... Even though my father is not Charles Perrault, sometimes I really feel as the "Puss in Boots". My walk over the pedestrian crosswalk throws whole traffic in disorder :) ...

Really, no one is perfect !

Phil, I like this poem so very much, thanks for posting it. Those so simple and wise verses can teach each man a lot.

Poem which I have chosen for you, may also be a good teacher.

Prayer for the Great Family

by Gary Snyder (1974)

Gratitude to Mother Earth, sailing through night and day—
and to her soil: rich, rare and sweet
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Plants, the sun-facing, light-changing leaf
and fine root-hairs; standing still through wind
and rain; their dance is in the flowering spiral grain
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Air, bearing the soaring Swift and silent
Owl at dawn. Breath of our song
        clear spirit breeze
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Wild Beings, our brothers, teaching secrets,
        freedoms, and ways; who share with us their milk;
        self-complete, brave and aware
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Water: clouds, lakes, rivers, glaciers;
holding or releasing; streaming through all
        our bodies salty seas
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to the Sun: blinding pulsing light through
trunks of trees, through mists, warming caves where
bears and snakes sleep— he who wakes us—
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to the Great Sky
who holds billions of stars— and goes yet beyond that—
        beyond all powers, and thoughts
        and yet is within us—
        Grandfather Space.
        The Mind is his Wife.
                            so be it.

Many thank yous for all your warm words and for being so inspiring person and a bright model for us younger - because today just the model is maybe needed more than bread.

You know how much I respect, appreciate and love you!

May Lord always bless you and yours!

Sincerely,

Luka
