Woww Joe,
This sounds like a political arena and one area I hate and loathe big time. However the American politics vis-a-vis elections (especially the president) normally arouses the world interest because of it importance and sensitivity to the world politics.
I am not an American but as an African I pray the right candidate carries the day, one that can help turn around the dwinddling fortunes of the American people and add more value to the world economy including Africa. One thing I have noticed is that most contributors here are Christian Americans who are praying for one that can bring back the christian standard known to be part of America's way of life before now. Well, let me say that Christianity is all about "believe and faith" and the ability to ascribe all decisions-taking to God. If we agree with this, then God does not look at age, color, race, religion, not even experience in order to takr His decision. He annointed David the king of Isreal when he was barely 12 years old, the youngest in the family, still tending sheep in the field. No experience whatsoever!!!
I think we should just pray for the right leader for the American people and when the time comes perform our civic right of going out to vote for our choice candidate. Mudslinging, insults and character assasination does not speak well of a supposed highly enlightened society like USA.
Very best wishes!!
