Re: JOE BUCCHERI WANTS TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS

Hello Joe!

Hmmm! Is this a political discussion?

I dislike Joe Buccheri for many things but he knows what he is doing. His Italian bloodline creates opinion and you pay for that. This is a trap to discuss something you should be above. Joe trhows a caramel out there and you run after it like it was made by honey.

Your spirit and intelligence should not allow discussion of racism of any kind. We are all proud for our countries because we are part of them, but we must also be those who give the directions on how our country must be ruled. This is basic democracy. I am not here to teach you democracy. I am fighting for mine.

Well, this discussion sounds like the ancient Egyptian priests and the Greek philosopher and wise man Solon. "You Greeks behave like children". Offended be who ever wants to. I say you have no political level in this discussion and you are not serious. "They" want you to sleep and they throw ashes in your eyes and you aren't even able to wash away the ashes.

Your discussion leads to this:

A funeral of an official.

Just months before you elections and I read nonsense. Instead of talking of a nations' future, problematics of human right and welfare, peace, American defense and investments in other countries like Poland Czechia, Ukraine and a risk of a global war, and human survival, strategic weapons, their use or not, I see you talking about the chromosomes and colour of your next President.

This is not a kitchen work. Some of you are against Barack because part of his bloodline is negroid or as you say African. But aren't you those who say that the whole human race is IndoEuropean which means that the white people are in origin Africans who came to Europe via India?

WAKE UP FOLKS - WORK FOR YOUR OWN INTERESTS
Discuss the real global problems. Plan for a future for your children.

You can not live by "Old Glory For Ever". The other countries got enough "American Glory". Things are up and down in the rest of the world because of USA. Don't you see it. Don't you realize that USA got stroked twice in four months.

For me it is of no interest who the winner will be as long as you aren't able to see deeper in politics. What ever the result of the elections is the same "ELITE" or group of people will rule your country in same direction as long as you Americans are keeping discussions of the lowest political interest. Thats what they want you to do.

OBAMA BARACK WILL WIN
What will happen next in the near time depends on how YOU want your future to be and what you want them to do for your best. Be active and fight for your human rights, because many of you don't even have that in USA of 2008.

Make the bed well to sleep well.

Hello Joe,

Georgios, as usual you stated your case quite eloquently but I think you missed some of the points raised by some of the members here.

It's definitely not about the color of his skin but his chromosomes do have something to do with the negativity about this candidate. You wrote: Just months before you elections and I read nonsense. Instead of talking of a nations' future, problematics of human right and welfare, peace, American defense and investments in other countries like Poland Czechia, Ukraine and a risk of a global war, and human survival, strategic weapons, their use or not, I see you talking about the chromosomes and colour of your next President. All the issues you raised here are valid and crucially important but the question is what level of experience does BHO have with any of these issues? Check his record absolutely none.

The American people are going through tough financial times now as is the whole world and the possibility of insuring a better future won't come at the hands of an inexperienced senator (very junior) whose voting record is unimpressive to say the least and experience is absolutely zero.

Where do his chromosomes come into this picture??? Many question his loyalty to the USA and question where his true loyalties lay. There are perfectly good reasons for their doubts as you well know. No need to list them again cos they were mentioned in this thread and many other sources.

All in all I believe that the American people are interested in what happens in the world even though their internal problems and dire economic situation are what they see as the most important issue on their agenda. Many are preaching isolationism cos of all the monies being spent on foreign affairs and that too is a mistake since we are all part of the same world and the actions of one affects the other.

It is a complicated issue and neither of the 2 candidates are the best America has to offer but unfortunately one of them will be the next US president. So in my personal opinion there is only one choice and it's not Obama.

Shalom,

Peter

Since the unexpected confrontation between Russia and Georgia began last week, or more likely, the unprovoked attack on Georgia by Russia...the polls of Americans show that most of us would feel much safer with John McCain as president, not Barack Obama.

Obama made 3 differing statements about that situation within a few days, he seemed unsure what to say, that makes us think he be completely unsure what to DO in unexpected situations like that, especially if the USA were to be embroiled in something.

TALKING politely to attackers won't work, Vladimir Putin was a killer in the Russian Secret Police, people like him don't TALK about things.  We need a president who knows how to deal with these kinds of attackers, in all countries and in all situations.  Sitting down for coffee and cookies won't do it.

John McCain was a prisoner of war, he knows what war is all about.  We need a president who knows how to lead, someone who knows the world and the people who run it.  John McCain has been to the country of Georgia many times, and knows the territory.  Barack Obama has never been there.  How many other places has Barack Obama never been to, that may break out into chaos at any time?
