I don't do this myself, but I can see where people might not consider sending ads to private emails to be spamming. This is a community of advertisers, people in this community expect to be able to advertise, and expect to receive some advertisements themselves--at least that is what I expected when I joined. Believe me, I have not been disappointed! Perhaps, as was suggested here, Adland Community needs to publish their usage guidelines in the newsletter to remind people of proper usage of email and forums. I have no problems with getting advertisements in my private Adland mailbox. However, I do get many "forum" notices that are really just ads. Nothing wrong with advertising in forums, but that shouldn't be the sole reason of starting a new forum. There are many here who use misleading headlines to get you to their "forum" ad. So far you haven't been doing that, thank you. Your forums are excellent examples of how ALL the forums should be--informative and interesting discussions about topics relevant to the business community--not just blatant ads. Keep up the good work! John

I am not getting them right now but I so know what you mean. Some days are worse than others you know. We all just have to stay on top of this and if it gets too out of hand than they should be reported and deleted if they can not be Respectful. I should put that in my profile as a nick name.
